Emesis gravidarum is a usual complaint that is often experienced by the first trimester pregnant women, and coul develop become hyperemesis gravidarum thus increasing the risk of pregnancy. Ginger is kind of herbs which has been known to prevent nausea vomiting. The purpose of this study is the effectiveness of giving wedang ginger to the frequency of nausea and vomiting in pregnant women trimester I. The design of this research is Quasi experiment with One Group Pre test-Post test design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the sample of 10 first trimester pregnant women who experience emesis gravidarum. This research was conducted at Work Area of Air Lais Puskesmas of North Bengkulu Regency on January 5, 2018 until February 6, 2018. Analysis of difference of frequency of nausea vomiting before and after intervention using Paired Sample T-Test. The results of this study indicate the average frequency of nausea vomiting pregnant women trimester I before given wedang ginger of 9.30. While the average frequency of nausea vomiting trimester pregnant women I after given ginger wedang of 4.50. The result of bivariate analysis showed that there was difference of mean of nausea vomiting frequency before and after intervention of wedang ginger equal to 4,80 with p = 0.000. Expected for the community can take advantage of ginger wedang as an alternative treatment before using antiemetic drugs, and can process other variants of ginger plants that can be used to lower the emesis gravidarum frequency.
Women of reproductive age in Indonesia are estimated to be 55% experienced pain during menstruation. The impact of dysmenorrhea is alarming to women's comfort. Even about 10% of women who experience menstrual pain can not follow daily activities. The results of the initial survey found that students who experience dysmenorrhea on average do not know how to handle/overcome pain during menstruationknowing the effect of finger gymnastics therapy on the decrease of pain Dismenore on schoolgirl SMKN 07 Kota Bengkulu. This research uses a research type of pre-experiment pre-post test. The samples of this research are all students who experienced disminore in SMKN 07 Kota Bengkulu as many as 30 people. Data collection using observation sheet. Statistical analysis using t-test. The results showed that the average of pain group intensity of hand-held finger therapy was 1.67 which included mild pain, the mean value of pain intensity in the control group was 3.53 which included mild pain leading to moderate pain. Significantly related groups of hand-held finger therapy. The results of this study are expected to be used as one of the efforts to overcome disminore on SMKN 07 Kota Bengkulu through community service activities.
Cervical cancer is a disease with the highest cases in the world. Primary services with cervical cancer screening use IVA tests as a form of promotion and preventive health services. Health BPJS provides guarantees to participants who have performed cervical cancer screening without fees. The coverage of cervical cancer screening in Bengkulu City is 1.44%, while the WHO target is 80%. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the BPJS health service system in cervical cancer screening in Bengkulu City in 2017. The method used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Subjects or informants in this study were BPJS staff in the Primary Services section, Head of P2M Section of the Health Office, a program implementing midwives in the Puskesmas, health BPJS participants who have performed cervical cancer screening. Data collection techniques use in-depth interviews. Data processing is done by describing the contents. The results showed that the implementation of cervical cancer screening was not optimal. The implementing staff is not by the rules that are determined, the limitations of cryotherapy equipment are only found in one puskesmas, there is no specific funding source provided for program development, and monitoring activities are only carried out once a year. Suggestions for relevant institutions to be able to increase the number of implementing personnel through training so that implementation is more optimal, and implementing officers can increase socialization, counseling, and collaborate with influential parties in order to increase the coverage of cervical cancer screening.
Children under five years old is a member of the family that required special attention from their parents or people close to him and depend on their physically or emotion. The low ability of children is due to the lack of activities that can stimulate motor abilities children in Sukaraja Subdistrict, Seluma Regency, Bengkulu Province, including the stunting locus. The Purpose of this community services is empower cadres in improving skill of family toddlers do stimulation and children development in early detection. Methods: empowerment with cassistance cadres do detection children development. The number of cadres sarimulyo 15 cadres in the village, the number of under fives 140 and BP2 villages is 6 cadres of toddlers 123. Assistance is 3 times, pre-test pos-test and knowledge, cadres assessed children development in each village. Result: knowledge of the cadres in the village sarimulyo increase 61,6 village and BP2 increase 50%, while the result of children under five from the development by cadres BP2 village use KPSP had found 2,4% of the children, doubt children development 4,1%, and 9.3% of the children in accordance with their age. Sarimulyo village had found 3,5% of the children risk of deception, doubt children development 17,8% and development in accordance 78,5% their age. Conclusion: Improvements to the assistance early detection is of great benefit to the toddler to recognize children development. ABSTRAK Anak usia bawah lima tahun merupakan anggota keluarga yang memerlukan perhatian khusus dari orang tuanya atau orang yang dekat dengannya dan sangat tergantung baik secara fisik maupun emosi. Rendahnya kemampuan anak disebabkan kurangnya kegiatan yang bisa merangsang motorik anak. Kecamatan Sukaraja Kabupaten Seluma Provinsi Bengkulu termasuk lokus stunting. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat memberdayakan kader dalam meningkatkan kempuan keluarga balita melakukan stimulasi dan deteksi dini perkembangan anak. Metode: pemberdayaan dengan pendampingan kader melakukan deteksi perkembangan balita. Jumlah kader di Desa Sarimulyo 15 kader, jumlah balita 140 dan di desa BP2 ada 6 kader dengan jumlah balita 123. Pendampingan dilakukan 3 kali, pre-tes dan pos-tes pengetahuan, kader melakukan penilaian perkembangan anak di desa masing-masing. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan pengetahuan kader tentang perkembangan di Desa Sarimulyo meningkat 61,6% dan Desa Bukit Peninjauan 2 meningkat 50%, sedangkan hasil dari penilaian perkembangan anak balita oleh kader di Desa BP2 menggunakan KPSP ditemukan anak mengalami penyimpangan 2,4% anak, perkembangan yang meragukan 4,1% anak dan 9.3% anak sesuai dengan usia. Desa Sarimulyo ditemukan 3,5% anak kemungkinan penyimpangan, 17,8% anak perkembangan meragukan dan 78,5% anak perkembangan sesuai umur. Kesimpulan: Pendampingan deteksi dini perkembangan terhadap kader sangat bermanfaat bagi keluarga balita guna mengenali perkembangan anak.
Most women experience emotional disturbance after childbirth such as depression, irritability, especially easily frustrated and emotional. Nearly 70 percent of women experience sadness after the birth, and most mothers can quickly recover and achieve stability, but 13% of them will experience postpartum depression. This research is aimed to know the impact of Kangaroo Mother Care to EPDS score On Post Partum in Bengkulu. Experimental quasi-research is used in this research. Subjects on this research are 30 respondents were divided into two groups: KMC group and control group. Data was collected using questioner. Statistical analysis was performed by T-test. There was a significant difference between the mean EPDS Score (p=0.0001) of KMC group before and after the intervention. There is a significant relationship between KMC and EPDS Score.
