The purpose of this research is to analyze the concept of Christian character education which refers to the character of Christ adapted to the conditions of the digital era. The current massive technological development opens up all information, so it tends to be difficult to filter, so that information with positive and negative content is very easy to find. The limitations of currently existing technology filtering are a problem in the digital era, where the role of educators is very important, especially in shaping a person's character, in this case, students. Because the formation of a person's character starts from what the person thinks. Like the quote from Samuel Smile's theory that "Sow thoughts and you will reap deeds, sow deeds then you will reap habits, sow habits so you will reap a character, and sow character so you will reap the future". A person's future is very much influenced by the thoughts he creates, if the thoughts that are formed from the beginning are good thoughts then he will certainly have a good character and vice versa. If it is associated with Christian character, then people who follow or have the character of Christ will find the kingdom of God. AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis konsep pendidikan karakter Kristen yang menga-cu pada karakter Kristus yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi era digital. Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat masif saat ini, membuka semua informasi, sehingga cenderung mulai susah untuk dilakukan penyaringan, sehingga informasi dengan konten positif dan negatif sangat mudah untuk ditemukan. Keterbatasan penyaringan teknologi yang ada pada saat ini menjadi permasalahan di era digital, di mana peran pendidik menjadi sangat penting, terutama dalam membentuk karakter seseorang, dalam hal ini peserta didiknya. Karena terbentuknya karakter seseorang dimulai dari apa yang dipikirkan orang itu sendiri. Seperti kutipan teori Samuel Smile bahwa “Taburkanlah pikiran maka kamu akan menuai perbuatan, taburkanlah perbuatan maka kamu akan menuai kebiasaan, taburkanlah kebiasaan maka kamu akan menuai karakter, dan taburkanlah karakter maka kamu akan menuai masa depan”. Masa depan seseorang sangat dipengaruhi oleh pikiran yang diciptakannya, jika pikiran yang dibentuk dari awal adalah pikiran yang baik maka dia akan dipastikan memiliki karakter yang baik dan begitu juga berlaku sebaliknya. Jika dikaitkan dengan karakter Kristen, maka orang yang mengikuti atau memiliki karakter Kristus kelak menemukan kerajaan Allah.
This paper discusses the application of Christian Religious Education at SMP Abdi Agape Pontianak in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic situation. The impacts of the COvid-19 Pandemic on the world of education which is changing the pattern of education that must go through online learning must not stop the planting of Christian Religious Education in schools. Christian Religious Education must take an important part in instilling the faith and character of Christ in students in the midst of this COVID-19 pandemic.AbstrakPenelitian ini membahasa mengenai penerapan nilai-nilai dasar Pendidikan Agama Kristen di SMP Abdi Agape Pontianak di tengah-tengah situasi Pandemi COvid-19. Dampak-dampak Pandemi Covid-19 terhadap dunia Pendidikan yang besar yang mengubah pola Pendidikan yang harus melalui pembelajaran online tidak boleh menghentikan penanaman Pendidikan Agama Kristen di sekolah-sekolah. Pendidikan Agama Kristen harus mengambil bagian penting bagi penanaman Iman dan karakter Kristus kepada peserta didik di tengah-tengah pandemic Covid-19 ini.
Background: One of the fields that take advantage of the positive impact of the development of information technology in education. The impact of the development of information technology on the field of education is one of them is indicated by the increasingly varied learning methods that are currently widely developed. One of the learning methods that are now starting to be widely developed is the multimedia-based interactive learning method. Aim: This research aims to find out the role of interactive multimedia on the development of children's character and religiosity at GKPB MDC Lippo Cikarang Sunday School. Method: This penelitian is causality research with quantitative method approaches. The population in the study was the parents of 33 samples of the Elim Tabernacle's Faith Victory Church. The sample used in this study was as many as 33 parents of students of Elim Tabernacle Church Victory of Faith as many as 33 samples. Findings: Interactive multimedia has a significant effect directly on the development of character and religiosity in children of GKPB MDC Lippo Cikarang Sunday School.
The study was conducted in Sabtu Ceria GPdI Betania, Buduran, Sidoarjo to investigate the role of Biblical Comic media in the learning process to improve storytelling skills. Biblical Comic media is essential to improving Sunday School students' storytelling skills. The research objective is achieved by using compare mean analysis Paired T-test. Instrument or measuring instruments used in collecting the data in this study is an observation before using Biblical Comic. This study used a total sampling of 32 Sunday School students. The results showed that there are significantly improve storytelling skills Sunday School student after used Biblical Comic media. Suggested Pastor and Sunday School Teachers in Ibadah Sabtu Ceria GPdI Betania, Buduran, Sidoarjo more innovate using Biblical Media to improve Sunday School students' storytelling skills Ibadah Sabtu Ceria GPdI Betania, Buduran, Sidoarjo. AbstrakPenelitian dilakukan di GPdI Betania, Buduran, Sidoarjo, dengan tujuan untuk meneliti peranan media komik Alkitab dalam proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bercerita murid Sekolah Minggu. Hal ini mengingat penggunaan komik Alkitab merupakan sarana bantu yang penting dalam peningkatan keterampilan bercerita murid Sekolah Minggu. Tujuan penelitian dicapai dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji beda Paired T-test. Instrumen yang dipergunakan untuk mendapatkan data dalam studi ini ialah observasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebesar 32 murid Sekolah Minggu, yang ditentukan dengan memakai metode total sampling. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa penggunaan Media Komik Alkitab sangat efektif dalam membantu murid untuk lebih memudahkan dalam bercerita sesuai dengan materi yang ada. Disarankan agar guru Sekolah Minggu di ibadah Sabtu ceria GPdI Betania, Buduran, Sidoarjo dapat lebih inovatif dalam melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bercerita murid.
