Kebutuhan service bagi sepeda motor menjadi kebutuhan rutin yang harus dilakukan oleh penggunanya. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan program bengkel dan training mekanik otomotif dan menumbuh kembangkan jiwa kewirausahaan, membantu program pemerintah dalam mengatasi pengangguran. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, Tanya jawab, diskusi, demonstrasi dan latihan praktek. Manfaat pengbdian ini adalah; Peserta pelatihan mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mekanik otmotif, Dosen dapat melaksanakan salah satu tri darma Perguruan Tinggi, untuk pemerintah setempat terbentuknya calon tenaga kerja yang berkualitas. Kegiatan ini diadakan di Kelurahan Labuhbaru Barat Kecamatan Payung Sekaki, diikuti oleh 15 orang peserta, 1 orang tamatan SD, 7 orang tamatan SMP dan 7 orang tamatan SLTA. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan mengumpulkan peserta di aula Kelurahan Labuhbaru Barat sebagai tempat pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat secara garis besar mencakup beberapa komponen sebagai berikut; 1). Keberhasilan target jumlah peserta pelatihan. 2) Ketercapaian tujuan pelatihan 3)Ketercapaian target materi yang telah direncanakan 4). Kemampuan peserta dalam penguasaan materi. Target peserta pelatihan seperti direncanakan sebelumnya 10 orang. Dalam pelaksanaannya, kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 15 orang peserta. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa target peserta tercapai 100%. Angka tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilihat dari jumlah peserta yang mengikuti dapat dikatakan berhasil/ sukses.
Clean water is one of the necessities that must be fulfilled for the continuity of life. This research was conducted in Pekanbaru at the Nuansa Kulim Indah Housing Community Type 36. This research was conducted to design, build and calculate the cost of a-based water purifier backwash. The method is Quality Function Deployment used to obtain a comfortable design for residential communities. For designing-based water purifier backwash an ergonomic, the dimensions of the-based water purifier are backwash adjusted to the anthropometry of the Nuansa Kulim Indah housing community with data on upright height (TBT) 165.10 cm, forward hand reach (JTD) 68.88 cm and length arm arm (PLT) 73.27 cm. The based water purifier is backwash -equipped with pressure pressure to identify the state of the filter media so that the filter media is kept clean. In addition, the-based water purifier is backwash designed for cleaning by reversing the direction of the water (backwash) if theprocess is backwash no longer possible to clean the filter media because the dirt content has clumped up and cannot be pushed with the water pressure itself, then the flange fitting provided can opened for manual cleaning.
Oil palm plantations and their processing units are expected to grow rapidly, advances in science and technology are very fast along with sophisticated equipment created to simplify and speed up a production process in a palm oil factory, one of which is the Cake Breaker Conveyor (CBC) which functions to break/separate oil palm kernels. core of the shell in oil palm kernel processing. This study tries to propose a machine maintenance system using the application of the RCM (Realibility Centered Maintenance) method on the CBC Cake Breaker Conveyor machine, where the RCM (Realibility Centered Maintenance) method is an identification technique with the intention of saving costs and maintenance to minimize the risk and impact of failure. in facilities and equipment utilities. From the test results the Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) value of the CBC engine clutch (Cake Breaker Conveyor) is 1,803 Hours. While the calculation results of the Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) value of the CBC engine clutch (Cake Breaker Conveyor) is 4:00 Hours Types of Preventive Maintenance and Time Based Maintenance For the optimal maintenance interval for the CBC (Cake Breaker Conveyor) engine clutch is 19 days. So one of the efforts that can be done is to innovate the design on the packaging to make it more attractive. The method used in innovating this packaging design is by kansei engineering. The goal to be achieved in this study is to identify the packaging design specifications desired by consumers and provide new packaging design proposals. Some of the stages carried out in this kansei engineering method are by collecting kansei words, validity and reliability tests, factor analysis, determining design elements, conjoint analysis,. From the results of data processing, the results of the packaging design desired by respondents were made of plastic, in the form of a standing pouch, having a distinctive patterned design and a light color.
Hub dari mesin screw press terpasang pada poros melalui alur pasak diikat dengan elemen pasak (key) dan berfungsi untuk meneruskan daya dan putaran dari speed reduser ke worm screw,kondisi ini pada sa’at tertentu mengalami kelonggaran ketika dioperasikan, karena pengaruh friksi pada bidang pasak dengan alur pasak dari poros sehingga alur pasak dari hub yang juga ada beban dinamis puntir, rotating bending serta beban lentur memberi efek samping friksi atau gesekan pada pasak dengan alur pasak hub dari poros screw press, sehingga terjadi konsentrasi tegangan pada daerah alur pasak dan material yang mengalami fatigue atau kelelahan secara kontiniu, serta timbul retak awal pada material hub screw press, khususnya pada permukaan fillet, kemudian terus menjalar ke dalam dan akhirnya patah (fracture). Insiden kerusakan ini terjadi pada suatu pabrik pengolahan kelapa sawit secara rutin sebelum 4 (empat) bulan pakai. Oleh sebab itu perlu dilakukan penelitian, analisis, mencari dan mengetahui penyebab failure/kerusakan (Root Caused Failure Analysis). Penelitian ini diawali dengan pemeriksaan visual, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji laboratorium yang meliputi uji metalografi, uji fraktografi, uji kekerasan, uji komposisi kimia dan menentukan tindakan preventiv untuk meminimalisir kerusakan hub screw press. Inisiatif selanjutnya melakukan optimisasi teknik pemeliharaan terhadap mesin pabrik PKS.dengan memprioritaskan prosedur pengoperasian mesin screw press, yang sesuai standar operating prosedur (SOP buku manual) mesin pabrik produk asal, disamping itu melakukan kontrol kualitas terhadap fabrikasi material hub, seperti uji komposisi kimia, uji kekerasan, microscopic, makroscopic, uji metallographi, dan membandingkan specimen uji dengan material produk standar pabrik, diikuti dengan supervisi terhadap optimasi teknik pemeliharaan yang ditetapkan.
