Primary school children are exposed to asymmetric loads that lead to an imbalance of postural muscles and a violation of the body relative symmetry. Mass screening examinations in schools for scoliotic posture and scoliosis are conducted primarily through the Adams test. It has low reproducibility and a high frequency of false negative results. In practice, various methods for diagnosing posture disorders are also used. Some methods are based on the evaluation of postural muscles static endurance, elasticity and proportionality of their functional capabilities. Others are based on a comprehensive assessment of the ability to maintain an upright posture rationally. The third ones are based on the analysis of the tonic vibration and H-reflex of skeletal muscles on both sides of the vertebral column. All the above mentioned methods definitely have diagnostic potential. Therefore it was decided to determine the validity of some common methods for diagnosing posture disorders based on the analysis of their mutual congruence. Based on the results of the experiment, a reliable correlation between the studied parameters was established. It in turn allows us to judge the congruence of the considered diagnostic methods and, accordingly, the high probability of their validity.
The article discusses the features of the impact of professional ergonomic factors on the development of various chronic diseases of workers in the construction industry. According to the results of the study, it follows that among the occupational diseases of builders, such as diseases of the cardiovascular system under the influence of occupational noise, as well as diseases of the musculoskeletal system, will be especially distinguished. Accordingly, it is necessary to take measures to prevent the consequences and prophylaxis of such diseases in representatives of the construction professions.
The article considers the features of complex optimization of construction waste management and defines its role in the formation of the concept of "sustainable construction". The authors note that in order for the construction, demolition and waste management industries to remain competitive in the global market, they must continue developing and implement innovations in the supply chain to improve efficiency, sustainability, and reduce energy, waste, and resource consumption. This requires serious research on intelligent, mobile, and integrated systems. Radically advanced robotic artificial intelligence systems for sorting and processing must be developed with an emphasis on the required reuse of materials and components. Many industries face an uncertain future in which the applicability of today's technological constraints cannot be assumed. The construction industry is likely to be significantly impacted by the capabilities of transformative technologies such as artificial intelligence, additive manufacturing, nanotechnology, virtual reality, and robotics. The application of such technologies presents significant opportunities for this industry.
The article analyzes the dynamics of consumer spending on construction and repair of residential buildings and apartments during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the context of the pandemic the author concludes that the population of our country needs both to invest money and to solve urgent problems related to the implementation of the following plans – to organize the repair of their own apartments or the construction of houses or summer cottages on their land plots. In this regard, it can be concluded that the owners of apartments and houses plan to spend significant funds to achieve this goal. Accordingly, the analysis showed that with the growing demand for the services of construction teams, as well as the significant costs of the population for repairs and building during the pandemic, the volume of expenditures of Russian citizens in the construction industry tends to increase.
The article deals with individual professional diseases of builders and the factors that influence their occurrence and development. The author believes that a wide range of industrial activities of representatives of the construction professions and the impact of the environment plays a vital role in the development and progression of most occupational diseases. However, the harmful effects of these diseases on the body are greatly underestimated, which reduces the effectiveness of preventive measures and complicates treatment. It is also impossible to ignore the occupational diseases of drivers of construction vehicles. The most common of them are diseases associated with the development of cardiovascular pathology, neuropsychiatric disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, diseases associated with problems with the musculoskeletal system, disorders caused by a sedentary lifestyle, as well as allergic and oncological diseases. In addition, drivers are affected by harmful sanitary and hygienic factors: noise, vibration, high temperature, harmful impurities in the bus cabin, nervous tension. Taking into account all the above factors, it is necessary to carry out appropriate prevention of occupational diseases of representatives of construction specialties by conducting educational work and conducting regular medical examinations.
The kinematic analysis of gymnastic skills performance is a widely used research method in sports science. This study presents the experience of applying the method of kinematic analysis in the managing the training process of junior gymnasts on the example of mastering three basic gymnastic skills. The test group included 10 junior male gymnasts of the age 9 to 12. The subject of kinematic analysis was based on comparing gymnasts’ joint angles, angular velocity and angular acceleration parameters. The kinematics parameters of gymnastic skills performance by a highly qualified gymnast became the target model for junior gymnasts. As a result of these targets application in the training of junior gymnasts, changes in the basic skills kinematic parameters were detected. At the end of the study, the kinematics parameters of junior gymnasts became much closer to the model parameters. Thus, the effectiveness of the kinematics analysis method in the training of junior gymnasts was demonstrated.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
