Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media travel game sehingga diketahui: (1) kelayakan media travel game untuk pembelajaran matematika kelas V SD materi perkalian dan pembagian bilangan pecahan, (2) keefektivan penerapan media travel game untuk pembelajaran matematika kelas V SD materi perkalian dan pembagian bilangan pecahan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) adaptasi Dick and Carey. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD N Lempuyangan I Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan lembar validasi ahli, lembar komentar siswa, lembar observasi guru, dan tes. Data dari instrumen dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif skala lima dan analisis Uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media travel game layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran matematika kelas V SD materi perkalian dan pembagian bilangan pecahan. Hasil kelayakan media travel game oleh ahli materi, media dan praktisi mendapatkan penilaian “baik”. Hasil kelayakan media travel game oleh siswa dalam tahap one to one evaluation mendapatkan penilaian “baik”, tahap small group evaluation mendapatkan penilaian “baik”, dan tahap field evaluation mendapatkan penilaian “baik sekali”. Media travel game efektif digunakan untuk pembelajaran matematika kelas V SD materi perkalian dan pembagian bilangan pecahan dengan perolehan hasil t hitung = -9,764. Music correlates to mathematics in the form of pattern concepts, formulas, and calculations that can be used as variations of ethnomathematics-based learning. One of the mathematics learning’s goals, according to the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), is a cultural purpose. This research aims to describe the results of mathematical element analysis in Surabaya regional songs. The research method used was qualitatively descriptive. The data sources used in this study were researchers, literatures, and field practitioners. Data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation studies. The documentation study was carried out by making a literature assessment corresponding to the required data. The data analysis technique used was Miles and Huberman’s models encompassing data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing stages. The results of study showed that there is a mathematical element in the regional song from Surabaya. The mathematical elements found in the analysis of block notation scores and number notations are summation of same-number fractions, summation of different fractions, multiplication of fractions, data processing in modes form, as well as data presentation in the form of tables, bar diagrams, and line charts. In addition to finding the mathematical elements in Surabaya regional songs, this study also proves that there is a correlation between music and mathematics.
This paper discusses the adoption of several phonological processes in Indonesian words into Ciacia in Buton, Southeast Sulawesi province. Ciacia language which is one of the languages with the most speakers in mainland Buton Kingdom in its development are adopting some Indonesian words. Adoption of words in Indonesian as compared to most other areas of the language word. This is due to ethnic mixing Ciacia just used both languages in daily life. In adopting Indonesian words into Ciacia many who have phonological processes. Phonological processes are most commonly found is the addition and removal of noise at the end of the word. The word has been adopted into the language Ciacia always be words with open syllables. This is caused by the language Ciacia unknown words with closed syllables.
This paper aims to portray elementary teachers’ perception of implementing the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in their best practice after training in a series of RME workshops. The perceptions captured in the study include (1) teachers’ confidence in understanding RME and its implementation in their best practices; (2) RME criteria, which teachers found most challenging during the planning and the implementation. The subject of this study is 296 elementary teachers who have attended the training. The workshop series provided RME materials, simulation during the workshop, implementation in teachers’ best practices, and the workshop to discuss their experience. There are two findings in this study. Firstly, most teachers have a better understanding of RME characteristics. However, most teacher believe that the RME approach can be applied most mathematical topics. They felt confident in implementing the RME approach in their best practices. Secondly, teachers found that the most challenging when planned the RME lesson was finding suitable media related to mathematics topics. Moreover, during the implementation, teachers found it most challenging to lead students to formal mathematics. These results suggest that the most impactful workshop is better, followed by best practices and participants’ reflection afterward.
Learning mathematics for elementary school students is often considered a creepy thing. Some of the tricks that can be used to remove this paradigm is the use of learning media that are attractive to students, one of which is the edu-game media based on android along with current technological developments. This development research developed the edu-game media based on android which aims to: describe the process of developing the edu-game media based on android to learn LCM and GCD for the 4th graders and (2) analyze the feasibility level of the edu-game media based on android to learn LCM and GCD for the 4th graders. The trial subjects of this study were the 4th graders of Laboratory Unesa Elementary School Surabaya and Geluran 1 Elementary School Taman Sidoarjo. The model used in this research is Plomp’s development model. From this research, the results obtained from the material expert validator with a percentage of 94.7% (valid), and from the media expert validator with a percentage of 93.75% (valid). Testing the test subjects got an average percentage of the entire program of 93.4% (very feasible).
Pembelajaran merupakan kegiatan yang membawa peserta didik memahami materi, ilmu pengetahuan, dan juga pengalaman untuk bekal kehidupannya di masa mendatang. Salah satu komponen dalam menunjang pembelajaran ialah media pembelajaran. Media memiliki peran penting dalam menyampaikan pesan dari guru kepada siswa salah satunya dalam materi matematika. Mengajarkan matematika di Sekolah Dasar haruslah disesuaikan dengan beberapa hal. Matematika Sekolah Dasar mencakup materi-materi yang diajarkan dengan konsep-konsep dan sesuai teori belajar yang mendukung. Penanaman dan pemahaman konsep dari suatu materi memerlukan proses pembelajaran yang menarik dan sesuai agar tidak menjadikan peserta didik mengalami miskonsepsi, untuk itu diperlukan alternatif pembelajaran yang sesuai salah satunya ialah papan arsir pecahan. Papan arsir pecahan merupakan media visual yang dikembangkan menggunakan papan yang berasal dari papan melamin dan akrilik yang dilapisi kain flanel. Media papan arsir pecahan merupakan media yang penggunaannya dengan cara diarsir. Media papan arsir pecahan akan memberikan penjelasan mengenai konsep operasi hitung pecahan. Media pembelajaran yang papan arsir pecahan ini memiliki komponen – komponen yaitu : (1) Papan utama (2) Papan arsir transparan (3) Papan Arsir tidak trasparan (4) buku petunjuk (5) Alat untuk mengarsir (Spidol) (6) box (7) Penghapus. Komponen-komponen tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah Dasar.
One of the things that foreign speakers find difficult when learning Indonesian is the form of derivation. Foreign speakers find it difficult to distinguish the use of affixed words. One of the books used as a reference in learning Indonesian is the A-C level BIPA textbook published by Badan Bahasa. In the book, there is various vocabulary that foreign speakers can learn. The problem is that the book's vocabulary does not always show the level of complexity that is in line with the level of the book. Based on this, it is necessary to study the complexity of words in BIPA textbooks as a material for mastering Indonesian vocabulary for foreign speakers. Data collection used the documentation method to obtain the corpus of data from the BIPA A-C textbook. The comparative method was used for data analysis. As a result, there is an increase in word complexity from simple to complex words at each level of the BIPA textbook. The level of complexity is not clearly defined, meaning that there is still overlap between levels of BIPA textbooks. Changing simple words into complex words is not explained in the BIPA textbook.
Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman secara teoritis maupun praktis tentang tindakan preventif dalam menghadapi adanya Virus Covid 19. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan warga semakin termotivasi untuk menjaga Kesehatan baik diri sendiri, maupun keluarga serta masyarakat. Peserta sosialisasi adalah keseluruhan warga RT 48 RW 13 Desa Jumputrejo Kecamatan Sukodono Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Tahap persiapan meliputi observasi awal dan koordinasi dengan Ketua RT untuk mengidentifikasi warga yang perlu mendapat penanganan. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan penanganan Covid-19 ini melalui program Family Self Checking. Tahap ini dilakukan dengan mendisitribusikan Termometer dan buku saku penggunaan selfchecking di lingkunan keluarga. Tahap evaluasi meliputi pemberian angket pada masing- masing keluarga sebagai bentuk Tindakan evaluasi dari mitra. Hasil dari kegiatan ini berupa terciptanya warga yang sadar akan pentingnya menjaaga eksehatan dengan dibantu alat thermometer dan buku saku untuk selalu rutin menjaga Kesehatan lingkungan keluarga. Selain melakukan evaluasi kegiatan PKM kepada warga, kegiatan ini juga menghasilkan output yakni publikasi ilmiah dan publikasi di media massa.
