Weather prediction is important in our lives and can minimize the impact that will occur in the future. Rainfaal and humidity greatly affect the weather conditions in Indonesia. Accuracy in the prediction of rainfall and humidity is very important because it can be used in various interests. The data used are the monthly average data of rainfall and humidity in the city of Pekanbaru in 2014–2018 obtained from BMKG Pekanbaru, then the monthly average data will be processed using a MATLAB R2015a based program so that an average rainfall prediction simulation is obtained and air humidity in 2019–2023. MATLAB R2015a based program using the monte carlo method and has error value 0.0887913.
Research of ideal fluid flow on irregular domain by variation mesh has been done. Laplace equation was used to model velocity potential and the gradient was used to velocity. Boundary condition for inlet was chosen to be 15 , while for outlet was 30 and Neumann boundary condition on lateral side. The developed model shows that uniform flow was happened on straight channel and free vortex on the curved one. The analytical and computational calculation has similar results, that is 23.7787 and 23.7792 The percentage of the difference is 2.8 wich is very small, therefore this method is accurate enough to model pattern of ideal fluid flow on irregular domain.
The research was done to determine the impact the of social media marketing will have on brand image Tokopedia. The research uses marketing communication theory, social media marketing, and brand image. Tokopedia is an e-commerce that offers a variety of products for its users starting with bill payment, electronics, beauty, automotive, and daily necessities. The approach used for this study is a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study is the user of Tokopedia and the number of samples taken as much as 218 individuals and are using nonprobability sampling techniques with the purposive sampling approach. The data collected in this study is from a questionnaire. Based on the results of the research, it has been obtained that partial, there is an impact that social media marketing has had on the brand image Tokopedia. On the dimension of social media marketing, communication indicators are the highest indicator, and on the brand image dimension, brand benefit and competence indicators are the highest indicator. The relation that happened is only 28,3%. The rest of the 71,7% are affected by other factors outside the social media marketing activity. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh social media marketing terhadap brand image Tokopedia. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori komunikasi pemasaran, social media marketing, dan brand image. Tokopedia merupakan e-commerce yang menawarkan berbagai macam produk-produk untuk penggunanya dimulai dari pembayaran tagihan, elektronik, kecantikan, otomotif, dan kebutuhan sehari-hari. Pendekatan yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengguna Tokopedia dan jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 218 orang dan menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling dengan pendekatan purposive sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka diperoleh hasil bahwa secara parsial, ada pengaruh social media marketing terhadap brand image Tokopedia. Pada dimensi social media marketing, indikator komunikasi merupakan indikator yang tertinggi, dan pada dimensi brand image, indikator brand benefit and competence merupakan indikator tertinggi. Hubungan yang terjadi hanya sebesar 28,3%. Sisanya 71,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar kegiatan social media marketing. Maturity progress of palm fruit is greatly depending on the availability of nutrients and environments. Determining maturity level of palm fruit is important to evaluate the quality of palm oil fruits. The younger or too mature fruits will produce poor quality of crude palm oil (CPO). An appropriate devices are needed that can measure the level of fruit maturity so that uniformity of maturity grade can be carried out to obtain high quality CPO. This research provides a preliminary study of voltage change on the surface of oil palm seeds which subjected by electric potential. The low directional voltage (DC) injection treatment, ~ 10V, was applied to investigate the impact of applied voltage on palm oil seeds with three different levels of maturity, i.e. immature (young), ripe and over ripe . The results shown that oil palm fruit quite quickly responds to injection of DC applied voltage with different responding voltage. This responding voltage tends to increase with increasing maturity levels, but decreases for over ripe fruit which has falling down and starting to dry out.
Optical fiber is increasingly popular and appreciated as a modern sensor technology in various sectors, one of which is for medical functions. This study was conducted to detect human diaphragmatic breathing flow using theoretical and experimental approaches. Initially, the lung model was formed using the finite element method and the Navier-Stokes equation by applying the principles of momentum and continuity. Furthermore, fiber Bragg grating (FBG) and single mode fiber (SMF) were experimentally designed with sinusoidal patterned macro-scale bending as a stretch sensor in a breathing belt applied to the diaphragm. The simulation model shows the airflow velocity increases up to 4 m/s when it flows into smaller branches. While the experimental results show that the largest power loss occurs at a buffer diameter of 0.8 cm. The power loss detected in SMF is a maximum of -0.18 dBm during inhalation and a minimum of -0.28 dBm during expiration. However, FBG bending is superior with high sensitivity.
