MI Muhammadiyah Gandatapa secara geografis berada di lereng Gunung Slamet, sedangkan Gunung Slamet sendiri merupakan gunung berapi yang tidak menutup kemungkinan sewaktu-waktu dapat terjadi erupsi. Sehingga wilayah yang berada di lereng gunung tersebut memiliki kerentanan terkena dampak erupsi gunung. Selama ini guru MI Muhammadiyah Gandatapa belum memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai upaya untuk mengurangi resiko bencana atau mitigasi bencana. Melalui pelatihan mitigasi bencana, maka diharapkan para guru dapat memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai mitigasi bencana sesuai dengan langkah-langkahnya. Pelatihan dilakukan melalui empat tahapan yaitu: 1) Persiapan; 2) Memberikan materi pelatihan dan simulasi; 3) Monitoring dan pendampingan; 4) Evaluasi hasil kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan yaitu secara teoritis guru mengetahui tentang mitigasi bencana. Selanjutnya guru memahami langkah-langkah yang ditempuh dalam menghadapi ancaman bencana gunung meletus, melalui tahapan 1) Sebelum terjadi bencana; 2) Pada saat terjadi bencana; 3) Pasca terjadi bencana. Pengetahuan dan pemahaman dalam mitigasi bencana yang telah didapatkan, dapat diimplementasikan di sekolah yang merupakan wilayah rawan terkena dampak dari gunung meletus dan menjadikan sekolah tanggap bencana.
There are approximatel 80 home industries that producing tofu and speading in several district in Samarinda. One home-based industry can produce 30 m 3 /day of liquid waste. The liquid waste is not utilized optimally and directly discharged into the environment. Liquid waste generated from the process of making tofu can demage environment due to its organic content such as COD adn TSS, which is higher than National Environmental Quality Standard. Treatment of tofu liquid waste need to be done to not damage the environmental to reduce the pollution load on the environment. One of the methods to reduce the liquid waste content is by electrocoagulated method. The process tool is aimed to decrease concentration COD of liquid waste. Tools are also designed to move dynamically from one place to another, so it can be effectively used in many places. The optimal result obtained from the treatment with his process tool is at 10 hours resulted in decreased of COD content by77,25% and the final concentration of liquid waste 122,88 ppm. This process tool can be applied directly and the liquid can be discharged safety into the environment.
The objective of this research and development study is generating approach-based reading textbook which will be appropriate and feasible for implementation in order to improve the reading skills of Grade IV students. This research and development study referred to the steps of research and development proposed by Borg & Gall. The subjects in this study were the Grade IV students from the State Elementary Schools under the Regional Unit of Technical Implementation in Kutasari District, the Regency of Purbalingga which consist of SD Negeri 1 Cendana, of SD Negeri 1 Karangjengkol, SD Negeri 1 Sumingkir, and SD Negeri 2 Munjul. In gathering the data, the researcher made use of interview, document analysis, rating scale, test, and questionnaire. The results of this research and development study are a process approach-based reading textbook for Theme 9 “My Food is Healthy and Nutritious” which has been designed in five reading activities namely: (1) setting up; (2) reading; (3) responding; (4) understanding; and (5) expanding the understanding. This textbook has been considered feasible for implementation according to the material expert and the media expert with “Good” category and according to the book design expert with “Very Good” category. There are differences in the final results between the experimental group and the control group after the approach based-reading textbook has been applied with the significance < 0.05. These differences show the significant reading skills improvement with sig. value (2-tailed) = 0.024.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 kali pertemuan, dengan menggunakan model Missouri Mathematics Project. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, hasil belajar pengetahuan pada pertemuan I mendapatkan nilai 71,8 dengan kategori baik, dan ketuntasan 75%. Pada pertemuan II mendapatkan presentase 80,5 dengan kategori baik, dan ketuntasan belajar 80%. Hasil belajar sikap percaya diri pada pertemuan I mendaptkan nilai 2,5 dengan kategori cukup, dan pada pertemuan II mendaptkan presentase 3,25 dengan kategori baik. Hasil belajar keterampilan menyelesaikan soal matematika pada pertemuan I mendapatkan nilai 2,5 dengan kategori cukup dan pada pertemuan II mendapatkan presentase 3,08 dengan kategori baik. Hasil belajar pada aspek pengetahuan, sikap percaya diri, dan keterampilan menyelesaikan soal matematika telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Missouri Mathematics Project dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1 Banjarsari Wetan.
