Kualitas jurnalistik DKI Jakarta dapat dilihat pada skor Indeks Kemerdekaan Pers (IKP) provinsi DKI Jakarta tahun 2020 yakni 72.63, masih masuk kategori baik, namun posisinya pada urutan ketiga dari bawah di antara 34 provinsi. Ini artinya kualitas pers DKI Jakarta dapat dikatakan buruk. Skor tersebut turun dibanding IKP DKI Jakarta tahun 2019 yakni 74.37. Meski skore menunjukkan baik, namun kualitas jurnalistik dapat dimaknai masih buruk karena masih sangat jauh menuju angka 100. Tahun 2019 tercatat 600 pengaduan masyarakat ke Dewan Pers, yang sebagian besar karena pelanggaran Kode Etik Jurnalistik, antara lain karena tidak melakukan konfirmasi, masih menerima suap, kloning berita dan plagiat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur kualitas jurnalistik wartawan lulusan uji kompetensi wartawan (UKW) tingkat muda di Jakarta dengan informan yang memberikan penilaian adalah masyarakat yang mempunyai pengalaman berhubungan dengan para wartawan muda yakni para redaktur, narasumber dan Humas. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah mixmethod yakni survei 100 responden di Jakarta dan indepth interview dengan Ketua Umum AJI 2017-2021 Abdul Manan dan Ketua Umum Dewan Pers periode 2013-2019 Yosep Adi Prasetyo. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi pengembangan mutu UKW dan mendorong wartawan terus meningkatkan kualitas jurnalistik.
The use of video assistant referees (VAR) is one solution to football problems in Indonesia. Indonesian football has a problem for years, namely the problem of trust in referees due to many referee bribery scandals and others. Based on this problem, this research focuses on public opinion toward VAR technology use in football. The research methodology is descriptive research, and this research is directed to make careful and detailed observations of the observed phenomena. This descriptive study aims to highlight current issues or problems through a data collection process that allows the researcher to describe the situation more fully than is possible without using this method. Researchers also seek to see phenomena related to technology involvement in sports activities from the players, organizers, spectators, and other stakeholders. The research results found that Public Opinion is formed into three types, for the first type who has a very high level of identification with the football club who is dissatisfied with the use of Video Assistant Referee Technology (VAR), the second type of public who enjoy football matches with debate in a football match less satisfied with the use of Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology, and the third type for the more modern public sees the use of Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology as a solution in decisions used in the Indonesian Football League Competition.
Nowadays, the condition of bullying cases committed by teenagers in Indonesia is still high, and it remains an unresolved issue, as well as the enthusiasm of Netflix viewers in Indonesia steadily increases, where the "13 Reasons Why" series is one of the most-watched series due to it raising the bullying issue. This study aims to determine Persuasive Communication and Attitudes Toward Bullying in the 13 Reasons Why series using the elaboration likelihood model as the main theory. This study uses quantitative methodology and data collection methods through an online questionnaire with a purposive sampling technique distributed to 137 student respondents who attend schools and universities known to have a seniority culture and are located in South Jakarta. After analyzing the data using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) version 24, the results showed that the persuasive communication of the 13 Reasons Why series had sufficient and positive influence with a correlation coefficient of 0,543 and a contribution value of 29,5% towards bullying attitudes where the dominant path taken by respondents in receiving persuasive messages is the central route.
The implementation of Article 60A paragraph 22 of the Job Creation Law that the migration of analog to digital terrestrial television systems must be completed no later than two years after this Law comes into effect. Therefore, the government must disseminate information to the entire community about digital television broadcasting so that they are ready to migrate from analog television. This study aimed to determine the public communication efforts carried out by the government in completing the migration of analog to digital terrestrial television systems. Using the Quadruple Helix theory, which combines four elements, namely the government, businessmen, academics, and the community, will explore the involvement of all components in the Quadruple Helix concept in communicating the migration of migration analog television to digital. By using a qualitative methodology that will elaborate on the involvement of resource persons referring to the four main components in the Quadruple Helix and adjusted to the qualifications of each component. The government's results of public communications are still dominantly conveyed through the digital space due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The main message of public communication still emphasizes the technical aspects. Proper public communication efforts will make the process of migrating analog to digital terrestrial television systems run smoothly. Thus, Indonesian citizens can feel the benefits of this new technology that was late to be implemented in Indonesia.
