Esse estudo buscou investigar a Integração Ensino-Serviço-Comunidade (IESC) a partir da percepção de trabalhadores da Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS). A pesquisa tem caráter exploratório, abordagem observacional, descritiva, quali-quantitativa, realizada por entrevistas. Participaram 86 profissionais, a maioria de Agentes Comunitários de Saúde (60%). Dos participantes, 95% (n=80), entendem que a presença de alunos nas Unidades colaborara para a realização do trabalho, 48% (n=39) descreveram que são as Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) em conjunto com o gestor/trabalhadores/representantes da Unidade que definem as ações. Dificuldades para IESC: falta de infraestrutura das unidades de saúde, inadequação de horários e de transporte e falha na comunicação entre a Instituição de Ensino e Serviço. A compreensão sobre a IESC ficou mais restrita a uma “troca de saberes”, entretanto, 99% afirmaram que essa articulação favorece a construção de uma prática importante para a formação daqueles que estão nos serviços, assim como para os discentes da instituição de ensino.
A Pandemia de Covid-19 acentuou a necessidade de entender e melhorar as condições de trabalho dos profissionais de saúde, para além dos Equipamentos de Proteção Individual, pois estes trabalhadores enfrentam, muitas vezes, precárias condições de trabalho. Este estudo buscou investigar a atuação profissional e as condições de trabalho de profissionais da Atenção Primária à Saúde no interior do Nordeste brasileiro. Trata-se de uma pesquisa quali-quantitativa, transversal, descritiva, realizada por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Dos 86 participantes, 60% (n=52) eram Agentes Comunitários de Saúde, 15% (n=13) técnico(a)s de enfermagem, 12% (n=10) enfermeiro(a)s, 7% (n=6) médico(a)s, 3% (n=3) técnico(a)s em saúde bucal e 2% (n=2) cirurgiões-dentistas. Observou-se que, na atuação dos profissionais, ainda persistem problemas que comprometem a garantia da atenção à saúde das populações no interior da região Nordeste, como a escassez de recursos humanos e materiais, a sobrecarga de trabalho, ou mesmo a precariedade da infraestrutura. A garantia de condições laborais adequadas é fundamental para fortalecer a prevenção e a promoção da saúde da população brasileira, ainda mais, no momento atual de enfrentamento da pandemia e de redução no financiamento do SUS.
