This study was designed to evaluate academic supervision program at PAUD Tunas Kasih, Magelang, using Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) evaluation model. The results of the study were expected to provide inputs to decision-makers for subsequent programs. The respondents of this descriptive-qualitative research included the school principal, six teachers, and a school managerial staff. Data collection was done through interviews, observation and document studies. Triangulation of data sources and methods validated the data, subsequently analysed through data condensation, data display, conclusion drawing and verification. Findings indicated the context evaluation revealed a need for academic supervision based on the condition and the need for teacher’s quality improvement. The input evaluation described the well-planned program—using different techniques, involving the teachers in their readiness, supported by available budget and infrastructure. The process evaluation reported the implementation of the planned techniques, with some adjustments based on the on-going condition, supported by the teachers’ readiness as well as participation and how they handle the constraints. The product evaluation found out that the academic supervision program had positive impacts and achieved the planned goals. It also discovered teachers’ positive responses and some follow-up plans. Lastly, this study gave recommendations to improve the local supervision programs, inputs to the school management, and ideas for future researches.
Concerning the effect of the 2019 coronavirus novel (COVID-19) pandemic on the global economic situation, this study examines the impact of customer attitudes toward negative Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) in their panic buying activities and switching barriers on customer satisfaction. This study also used the Rational Choice Theory approach as a foundation to explain the current situation in Indonesia regarding customer purchasing decisions and satisfaction. The questionnaires were distributed online to 691 consumers in various cities in Indonesia. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of this study indicate that the attitudes toward negative eWOM have an impact on increasing panic buying activity and brand switching. Finally, the relationship between buying activity as well as brand switching toward customer satisfaction has significance. The conclusions drawn in this study will contribute to studies or research regarding Rational Choice Theory.

The impact of family business has been recognized globally. However, according to some facts and previous studies, the performance of family businesses may decline as they age and the generations change. The research tried to explore the differences in firm performances based on company size, company age, and the generation of the leaders of the firms to confirm the results from the previous study. The data were compiled from 213 companies that vary in size. There were micro, small, small-medium, big-medium, and big firms. The possible presence of significant differences in firm performance based on company size, age, and generation of the leaders was analyzed using the Analysis of Variances (ANOVA). ANOVA test shows no significant differences in company age, company size, and the generation of the leaders toward their firm performances. The research clarifies the previous studies stating that there are significant differences in those three independent variables toward firm performance. The research also shows no significant difference in different generation of the leaders toward company size. Hence, it means the firm performance of companies cannot be determined only by knowing its size, age, or the generation of the leaders. There must be other factors that can help to identify the firm performance of a company.
