This paper is concerned with the stability criteria of discrete neural networks with two additive input time-varying delays. By using the time delay division and a new summation inequality, a less conservative criterion is derived. Moreover, to compare the obtained criterion more directly with the existing results, a corollary is proposed accordingly. Finally, some numerical examples are presented to demonstrate that the obtained criteria are less conservative. Fuzzy cellular neural networks with time-varying delays are considered. Some sufficient conditions for the existence and exponential stability of periodic solutions are obtained by using the continuation theorem based on the coincidence degree and the differential inequality technique. The sufficient conditions are easy to use in pattern recognition and automatic control. Finally, an example is given to show the feasibility and effectiveness of our methods.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
