The subject of the study are informal institutions that influence the development of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra. The aim of the study is to identify the composition of informal institutions and the direction of their influence. The scientific significance of the work is to use an institutional approach to study the economy of the northern resource-producing region. The practical importance of the work lies in the possibility of the executive bodies of the state power applying the management of the region's branches to draw conclusions about the degree of influence of informal institutions on the development of the industry. The objectives of the study are: - studying the respondents' opinion on the impact of informal institutions; - study of the composition of informal institutions; - study of the direction of their influence. The research methodology includes comparative institutional analysis, questionnaires. The result of the work is an institutional analysis of the composition of informal institutions and their impact on the development of the economy of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra.
The paper reflects research findings of the path dependence of infrastructural economic sectors in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugraby performing an autocorrelation analysis. The authors analyze the path dependence of infrastructure economic sectors of the northern resource-extraction region resulted in detecting the dependence on last years' indicators, as well as a 3-year negative internal cycle in the transport industry, and a 4-year cycle in the financial industry, while no obvious internal development cycles have been observed in the "Information and Communication Technologies" and "Trade and Small Business" industries. It has been revealed that the path dependence of economic sectors in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugracauses problems for economic reforming and diversification.
The present article deals with the study of the current state of small business in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District-Yugra. For this purpose, a systematic analysis of the following socioeconomic development indicators of the District was carried out: the average number of small business employees (excluding external part-time employees), trade turnover of small businesses, and expenditures of the consolidated budget of the entity of the Russian Federation on the development of entrepreneurship. The authors of the article assess the contribution of small business to the gross regional product. In the course of the research, using correlation analysis, the intercorrelation among small business development indicators of the Northern Region of Russia was revealed. The strongest correlation was observed between the number of small enterprises and the number of people employed in small enterprises, while the weakest correlation was revealed between the number of employees and the budget expenditures on the national economy. The research results can be used by specialists working in the departments dealing with the support of small and medium-sized businesses in the region, as well as by those who are analyzing the current state of the entrepreneurial business and assessing the effectiveness of implemented measures.
