The chosen methodology allowed the analysis of the parameters NOEC (Not Observable Effect Concentration), LOEC (Lowest Observable Effect Concentration) and EC 50 (Effective Concentration) for each species. For radish, it was observed that NOEC appeared in 1 mg L -1 stressor, LOEC at 2 mg L -1 and EC 50 at approximately 7 mg L -1 . For cabbage, NOEC appeared at 16 mg L -1 , LOEC at 18 mg L -1 and EC 50 between 14 e 15 mgL -1 . It was possible to get, through the study, a high pH control (7.0 for radish and 7.5 for cabbage), high sensitivity and low cost compared to other toxicity tests.
ALUMINUM TOXICITY STUDIES AT pH 7,0 AND 7,5 FOR BRASSICA OLERACEA L. AND RAPHANUS SATIVUS L. ABSTRACTAluminum toxicity was only found at pH below 5.5 due to the solubility of Al 3+ ions that occur in the acid medium. The objective of this search was to studying the toxicity of aluminum at pH 7.0 for Raphanus sativus L. (radish) and 7.5 for Brassica oleracea L.(cabbage) with a check whether these pH the aluminum have no observable deleterious effects. A methodology was used in which the culture medium contained seeds as tested organisms and a strict control of pH values. The toxicological tests employed allowed optimizing macro and micronutrients necessary for plant development. The study was able to verify high Acute and Chronic Toxic Al 3+ icons at pH 7.0 and 7.5 for studied plants, proving that toxic effects of aluminum can also be verified in culture medium with neutral and slightly basic pH.
