A method is devised for the synthesis of nanosized silver particles in a polymethylmethacrylate matrix, and the optical properties of the resulting metal containing nanocomposites are studied. The possi bility of using the nanocomposites derived as antiglare and antireflection screen coatings is shown experimen tally.
The results of investigations into monolayered antireflective coatings based on silicon dioxide (sil ica) nanoparticles obtained according to the sol gel technology using a simple and efficient technique of dip ping into a sol of soda lime glass are presented. The influence of silica sol synthesis parameters and the size of the deposited nanoparticles on the structure and properties of the obtained coatings are revealed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
