The spin correlation coefficient CKP in proton-proton scattering at 90° in the center of mass system has been measured by using the proton beam of 52 MeV extracted from the INS 160 cm synchrocyclotron. The spin correlation coefficient CKP is highly sensitive to the phase shift of 3Po and it is expected that we can obtain important information about the character of the spin-orbit coupling force by the measurement of CKP in this energy region.
We have studied the equations of motion for the spin-boson problem and other approximations and equivalences. A more detailed account of this work will be published shortly.Isospin forbidden resonances (AT = 1) have been observed in the reaction 93 Nb(£,a) 90 Zr. Angular distributions to the 0 + ground state measured at the 4 + (59-keV) and 2 + (334-keV) analog resonances indicate that the 2 + isospin analog state is formed via a pure d 5 / 2 capture whereas the 4 + isospin analog state is formed by a coherent admixture of d 5 / 2 , St/2, and ^3/2 components.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
