A Measurement of the Spin Correlation CoefficientCKPinp-pScattering at 52 MeV

Abstract: The spin correlation coefficient CKP in proton-proton scattering at 90° in the center of mass system has been measured by using the proton beam of 52 MeV extracted from the INS 160 cm synchrocyclotron. The spin correlation coefficient CKP is highly sensitive to the phase shift of 3Po and it is expected that we can obtain important information about the character of the spin-orbit coupling force by the measurement of CKP in this energy region.
