AbstractThe Cumulative Cross Sections for the production of different nuclei using natural ytterbium as target and 84.32 MeV alpha particles as projectiles, were determined using the stacked foil technique in combination with gamma ray spectroscopy. The data are compared with theoretical predictions provided by an equilibrium and pre-equilibrium reaction model.
