As crianças são vulneráveis quando estão engasgadas, por terem menor experiencia e capacidade ao pedir socorro, sendo importante que os adultos saibam como realizar a manobra de Heimlich, desobstruindo as vias aéreas. O objetivo dessa pesquisa é entender como funciona a manobra de Heimlich como técnica de primeiros socorros pediátricos. Essa pesquisa trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, realizada durante os meses de agosto e outubro de 2022, os dados utilizados foram extraídos das bases de dados: BVS, SCIELO, LILACS e MEDLINE. Os descritores foram: “Manobra de Heimlich” , “Primeiros socorros”, “Saúde da Criança” e “Obstrução das Vias Respiratórias”. Os critérios de inclusão foram estudos em português, gratuitos e dentro do recorte temporal de 2016 a 2022. Os critérios de exclusão foram artigos duplicados, resumos, resenhas e teses. Após seleção dos estudos, conforme os critérios de inclusão e exclusão, foram selecionados apenas 6 artigos para compor a amostra final. Concluiu-se que, a manobra de Heimlich deve ser feita se posicionando atrás da vítima, com os braços ao redor da cintura e as mãos fechadas posicionadas abaixo do apêndice xifoide, fazendo movimentos fortes e rápidos de baixo para cima, com intuito de criar uma tosse artificial, que pode expelir o objeto ou material que resultou no engasgo, tal manobra de primeiros socorros é responsável por salvar inúmeras vidas.
O bruxismo é caracterizado como um transtorno de repetição, ocasionado pelo hábito de ranger os dentes de forma involuntária. Tal disfunção é muito associada a desequilíbrios pisicologicos, conseguindo possuir relação com dores cronicas, oriundas de doenças como a endometriose. O objetivo desse estudo é analisar quais são as correlações entre o bruxismo e a endometriose. Através de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, esse estudo usou as bases de dados da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciELO), Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS) e PubMed (National Library of Medicine). Foram utilizados os operadores booleanos “AND” e “OR”, com os descriores de saúde: Bruxismo, Endometriose, Dor crônica, Dor pélvica, Etiologia, com ajuda dos Descritores de Ciências da Saúde (DeCS). Os critérios de inclusão foram: estudos pertinentes a pesquisa, completos, gratuitos, em português e inglês, dentro do período de 2010 a 2022. Os critérios de exclusão foram: estudos que se desviavam do tema, duplicados, resumos simples e expandidos, artigos de opinião e resenhas. Com a pesquisa foi possível encontrar 112 artigos, 47 estavam duplicados e 65 foram excluídos pela leitura rápida, restando 30 estudos lidos por completo, após isso outros 18 foram eliminados, restando 12 artigos para compor essa pesquisa. Mediante essa pesquisa, conclui-se que, o bruxismo tem uma alta associação com estado emocional, em conjunto com as dores crônicas da endometriose, essa pode ser um fator causador do bruxismo, devido à cronicidade e intensidade das dores pélvicas.
A miastenia grave (MG) é uma doença autoimune e crônica, caracterizada pela interrupção da comunicação neuromuscular, sendo que sua causa ainda não foi totalmente elucidada. O objetivo desse estudo é analisar como a enfermagem auxilia no processo de melhoria da doença. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, realizada durante os meses de agosto e dezembro de 2022, nas bases de dados SCIELO, LILACS, BRISA e MEDLINE, com auxílio dos Descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS): Miastenia Gravis; Síndrome Miastênica Congênita do Canal Lento e Atividade Motora, os critérios de inclusão foram artigos em português e inglês, publicados entre 2018 e 2022 e gratuitos, já os critérios de exclusão foram estudos duplicados e que fugiam do tema. Após a triagem dos artigos, conforme os critérios de inclusão e exclusão, foram selecionados apenas 6 artigos para compor a amostra final. Concluiu-se que, o apoio da equipe de enfermagem ao acolher, encorajar, monitorar e auxiliar a paciente, aliado a terapia medicamentosa e à atenção da equipe multiprofissional proporcionaram a rápida melhora nos quadros de Miastenia Grave.
O Acidente Vascular Encefálico (AVE), corriqueiramente denominado chamado de derrame cerebral, é caracterizado pela interrupção do fluxo sanguíneo para o cérebro, decorrente do entupimento ou rompimento de vasos sanguíneos encefálicos. O objetivo desse estudo é analisar o número de internações por AVE em adultos jovens no estado da Paraíba no período entre 2017 e 2021. Método: Trata-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa, baseada em um estudo epidemiológico e retrospectivo, realizado no estado da Paraíba, possui caráter empírico, descritivo e documental. Os dados utilizados são oriundos do Sistema de Informação Hospitalar (SIH), a partir de dados secundários retirados da base pública e nacional do Portal de Saúde do sistema intitulada DATASUS, em uma análise mensal de internação hospitalar por AVE em adultos jovens no estado da Paraíba, registrados no período de 2017 a 2021. Os resultados apresentados indicam que, o aumento de idade atua como fator de vulnerabilidade para a ocorrência de AVE e que as mulheres são, proporcionalmente, mais afetadas pelo AVE que os homens. Em ambos os sexos, a faixa etária de maior prevalência está entre 40 e 49 anos e a taxa de menor incidência está entre 20 e 29 anos. Foi visto também um crescimento no número de internações durante os anos analisados. Conclui-se então que, os resultados deste estudo auxiliam no entendimento do comportamento das internações por AVE no estado da Paraíba. Espera-se que o cenário apresentado possa auxiliar na construção de futuras investigações, na tomada de decisão diante do controle da incidência de AVE e de suas estratégias de enfrentamento da doença prevenção.
