The growing market value of a company remains the main concern of the management, as well as of the shareholders. Implementing integrated management systems is not always easy and is not low-priced either, but the benefits to clients, management, employees, or shareholders are considerable. At the same time, the involvement of companies in corporate social responsibility activities represents a return of part of the benefits to the community, the benefits being found on multiple plans for all the stakeholders. Through this study, we aim to identify the effects of implementing integrated management systems and quantify the influence of corporate social responsibility initiatives on the market value of hospitality industry companies in Romania. Analyzing the results of the study demonstrates the existence of a direct correlation between the implementation of integrated management systems and the evolution of the economic performance of the companies. Also, the results reveal a positive correlation between the existence of corporate social responsibility initiatives and the increase of the market value of Romanian hotel industry companies.

This research aims to evaluate the impact and the effects of the cohesion policy among the Member States using hierarchical clustering analysis in order to identify how the selected variables affect the sustainable development adopted models. The variables used in the analysis were selected on the basis of official data provided by the European Commission, SDG Index and Dashboards Reports and the EU Cohesion Monitor. The results of the research have led to the grouping of the 28 Member States in a number of six clusters, identifying performers but also those countries that have a high potential for sustainable development or which require increased attention to be sustained in recovering existing gaps. The results of the study can be a starting point for policy makers and other stakeholders involved in their efforts to support sustainable development through effective and effective policies.
The constant progress in terms of sustainable development and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) under 2030 Agenda are preoccupations of first concern for all the actors involved. Strategic management ensures the identification of environmental opportunities and threats that a sector or an organization must face in order to gain a competitive advantage in the market. Transport is recognized as a key factor in the strategy of a long term development, economic growth and quality of life. In this sense, a transport system that offers a maximum economic and social impact must be developed in order to minimize the negative effects. Considering this aspects, we must highlight that important economic changes, trade growth, technological development or environmental issues have a major impact on the maritime industry in general and on port activities in particular. The favourable maritime opening of Romania, which through the port of Constanta is one of the main distribution centers for Central and Eastern Europe, ensures the necessary premises for an economic growth. The purpose of this paper is to identify the main strategic management decisions needed in the field of maritime transport in order to ensure increased performance. We will also try to demonstrate the strategic importance that the management of the port has (through updated strategic decisions and objectives) in terms of its competitiveness in foreign trade. An analysis will be performed on the port of Constanta based on which we will identify the main decisions and strategic objectives to ensure its development and increase its competitiveness at European and global level.
IC engine or internal combustion engine have been dominating the automotive since its inception. Although it seems quite skeptical but the first electric vehicle was developed around 1890 by William Morrison. During early 1900s around 40% of cars were electric, 38% on steam and mere 22% on gasoline. Due to range, capacity and also power produced by electric vehicles made them obsolete. The research paper focuses on how electric vehicles are not only comparable but better than internal combustion engine in many ways. Various studies and Simulink proves that electric vehicle is going to be the future of transportation.
