Udenismo. Trabalhismo.

Palavras-Chave: Tenório Cavalcanti; Política no Rio de Janeiro; Memória.Abstract: This interview is part of Claudio Souza e Silva's PHD research, which current working title is "the meaning of "tenorismo" in politicis". The research's main goal is to analyze Tenorio Cavalcanti's trajectory in the context of Rio de Janeiro's city and state. The interviewee, Luitgarde Cavalcanti Barros, is Tenório Cavalcanti's cousin and was in touch with him on personal basis from 1963 on. In this interview, she opens up about this relationship, her views on Tenorio and her opinions on his political acts. Some parts of the interview were removed in order for it to become more comprehensible for the reader, but the narrative sequence was not altered.
Abstract: This article analyzes how the newspaper Luta Democrática connected its owner, the politician Tenório Cavalcanti, with his voters.
