Resumo Pode-se supor que a adaptação ao contexto universitário requeira tanto habilidades de relacionamento como comportamentos acadêmicos adequados. Este estudo destinou-se a identificar as relações entre Habilidades Sociais, Vivências Acadêmicas e Comportamentos Sociais Acadêmicos em estudantes. Participaram do estudo 289 estudantes universitários de instituições públicas e privadas, com idades variando entre 17 e 61 anos. Aplicou-se o Inventário de Habilidades Sociais (IHS), o Questionário de Vivências Acadêmicas (QVA-r) e o Inventário de Comportamentos Sociais Acadêmicos (ICSA). Foi identificado que os alunos que apresentam comportamentos sociais acadêmicos desadaptativos também apresentam déficits em habilidades sociais dificultando sua adaptação acadêmica e que, habilidades socialmente aceitáveis estão associadas não só a varáveis pessoais, mas também às curriculares e institucionais.
Objetivou-se identificar as diferenças entre alunos dos três primeiros períodos do curso de psicologia em relação as variáveis relacionadas a adaptação acadêmica. Participaram 426 estudantes universitários que responderam aos questionários e inventários relativos as variáveis. Os dados foram submetidos ao teste ANOVA. Os principais resultados apontam que os estudantes possuem expectativas irrealistas em relação a universidade. Houve aumento do repertório de habilidades sociais de enfrentamento e autoafirmação com risco e diminuição da habilidade de conversação e desenvoltura social em função dos períodos e, nos períodos mais avançados estão mais determinados, apresentam mais autoconhecimento e menos responsabilidade e independência em relação a sua escolha profissional. Em relação a Instituição, estão menos satisfeitos a medida em que o curso avança.
O presente estudo teve como objetivo compreender a concepção de estudantes do Ensino Superior sobre a satisfação com o curso, comparando a concepção de alunos de instituições de Ensino Superior públicas e privadas do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Utilizou-se como instrumento um questionário com questões abertas sobre o tema aplicado a 78 estudantes de diversas áreas do conhecimento. Para a análise dos dados, usou-se o programa Iramuteq para a Classificação Hierárquica Descendente. Os resultados apontaram para uma diferença acerca da percepção dos alunos relativa a temas como grade curricular, gestão da universidade, oportunidade de trabalho e a qualificação dos professores.
