Esse estudo teve como objetivo, articular a temática Educação Alimentar e Nutricional (EAN) ao Currículo Escolar. Realizado por meio de uma pesquisa qualitativa, com professores e funcionários que atuam na Educação Infantil – Pré-Escola e Ensino Fundamental I, de uma Escola de Educação Básica, do interior do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Para a coleta de dados realizou-se dois encontros: o primeiro de formação, realizado pela plataforma Google Meet, incluiu a gravação em forma de vídeo e posteriormente a transcrição e análise das falas mais significativas. Foi conduzido pela Nutricionista da Secretaria Municipal de Educação, e teve um total de 17 participantes, sendo sete funcionários, nove professores e uma nutricionista. No segundo encontro, envolvendo os mesmos participantes, realizou-se um estudo do currículo atual da escola, analisando em cada área do conhecimento e descrevendo a articulação possível de se fazer com a temática EAN. Foram consideradas as duas etapas da Educação Básica, a Educação Infantil – Pré-Escola e o Ensino Fundamental I (1º ao 5º ano), norteados pela questão “Quais as potencialidades da articulação entre a temática EAN ao Currículo Escolar? Os dados coletados foram expressos, pelos participantes, em forma de esquemas. Os momentos de formação demonstraram que há possibilidade de articulação da temática Educação Alimentar e Nutricional ao Currículo Escolar. A partir dos esquemas foi possível ampliar o olhar para além das paredes da sala de aula, compreendendo que a EAN faz parte do cotidiano escolar e que não pode ser abordada de modo pontual, mas como processo de aprendizagem. Porém, para isso acontecer, é necessário um trabalho coletivo, baseado na realidade em que a criança está inserida. Por meio do tema EAN articulado ao currículo escolar, é possível acontecer aprendizagem e significação dos conteúdos estabelecidos.
