PT Global Infotech Solutions is a company engaged in the field of IT solutions. The company does business by becoming an IT consultant or providing solutions to every customer who has problems including software, hardware and networking systems. Information technology is supporting business in the company, so IT risks can occur at any time. Seeing this problem, management / managing risk is the right way to minimize the potential losses incurred. Therefore, in this study the authors conducted risk management of information technology using COBIT 5. The measurement results of capability level that PT Global Infotech Solutions is at level 1 in managing risk according to the APO12 domain. There are several recommendations given so that risk management can run well.
Letters archiving is the process of receiving, collecting, maintaining letters in a structured manner by an agency, however, the process of filing letters at the Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah (UPTD) Satuan Pendidikan Non Formal (SPNF) Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Salatiga still has problems such as recording letter archive data that still uses a letter agenda book which sometimes occurs errors in recording, archival document storage which is physically stored on a mailing cabinet which is prone to being lost, scattered, or damaged and the large number of existing documents causes employees to need extra time and effort to look for them. With the Letter Archive Information System designed using the prototype method, it allows employees to take part in the design of this system by providing opinions and suggestions on system design so that the results will be more optimal, maximum and can be a solution to the problems that exist in the Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah (UPTD) Satuan Pendidikan Non Formal (SPNF) Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Salatiga.
CV. Suien Insan Persada is a wood processing company whose production uses logs as the starting material. The wood is then processed into wood sheets for furniture manufacturing companies and shipped overseas. This wood industry is located in Kab. Boyolali, Central Java. CV. Suien Insan Persada has not used adequate information technology. Data processing carried out by the production department produces manual reports that are given and managed directly by the administration section. This method makes filing more difficult to manage because manual reports in the form of writing on paper are easily damaged, and there is a risk of data being lost. The problems that occur in CV. Suien Insan Persada needs a solution to make CV easier. Suien Insan Persada in making a report to resolve the above problems. The solution to overcome the problem is utilizing Information Technology (IT) with a good strategic plan by creating an information system architecture in the form of TOGAF ADM. TOGAF ADM was chosen because it has a detailed and open-source framework that can be used by CV. Suien Insan Persada to build an Enterprise Architecture (EA) that suits the needs. Besides that, TOGAF has the advantage of being flexible and open source. The results showed that TOGAF ADM could produce IS/IT strategic plan documents expected to solve the problems faced by CV. Suien Insan Persada.
Human Resources (HR) is one of the important things that determines the success of the services of a company, one of the things done to prepare a good HR is to launch a program of Job Training (PKL) or also known as an internship. PT.Gramedia Asri Media became one of the companies implementing the internship program, but the existing internship program was still carried out manually by distributing information to tertiary institutions via email. This journal aims to create an apprenticeship information system design by developing a system using the prototyping method so that the apprenticeship process can be carried out in a single system from the dissemination of information to the resolution of administrative problems related to finance and the need for an apprenticeship approval document. The system development method used therein is the prototyping method that starts from analyzing user needs to creating a User Interface (UI) that is easily understood by the user. The apprenticeship information system is expected to make the apprenticeship process more effective both in registering and processing the internship data contained therein.
PT. XYZ, which is engaged in the manufacture of furniture and furniture components, was established in 2006. PT XYZ in carrying out its production uses production machines that are integrated with Information Systems. In every business process carried out by PT. XYZ requires IS/IT that supports every activity it carries out. PT XYZ uses production machines that are quite old. Conditions that occur at PT. XYZ can be explained in more detail using a risk management approach. The purpose of risk management is to manage existing risks based on the ISO 31000 standard so that the company gets optimal results.
The use of information technology system in managing data of various company activities, especially in the warehouse, is an important part for every company. From the observation that have been made, the information system for recording goods flow in PT Global Infotech Solution is still done manually. During this time, employees carry out the process of recording data of goods at the warehouse using paper, so that the risk of data loss is easily caused by tearing, wet or tucked with other data. The system development method that used is the FAST (Framework for Application System Thinking) Method. This study aims to design an information system for recording goods flow which is expected to make it easier for employees to record goods in the warehouse. Using a computerized system can shorten the time and protect all data items from the risk of theft. The result of this study is designing an information system for recording goods in the form of information systems using the Unified Modeling Language and User Interface. This item recording information system is expected to be able to change the process from a manual recording system to a computerized recording system, so that it can speed up every recording process and minimize the possibility of mistakes in entering the data of goods in the warehouse.
UD. Leon Jaya is an building equipment importer. The problems faced by UD. Leon Jaya are a conventional data storage model and business process activities are carried out manually. For, example data collection of incoming and outgoing goods. The solutions to the problems are a computerized system for digital / electronic data storage and a management information system to carry out business process activities. The development of a computerized system requires a good planning, comprehensive, and able to anticipate the development needs of the company, which absolutely requires IS / IT strategic planning. This study aims to find the right method and steps for UD. Leon Jaya in compiling the IS / IT Strategic Plan. Formulation of a strategic plan for IS / IT UD. Leon Jaya uses the Ward and Peppard method, internal analysis using Value Chain and SWOT, external analysis using PEST, and portfolio mapping using Mcfarlan Strategic Grid. The results of the recommendations are data management SI, goods price SI, sales and demand SI, transaction SI, warehouse stock mobile application, HR SI, website, training application and company operation standart application.
Keberadaan dari teknologi informasi (TI) saat ini sudah menjadi hal yang penting bagi suatu oganisasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektifitas kerja. Dengan adanya penggunaan dan penerapan TI, proses bisnis suatu organisasi dapat terbantu contohnya seperti memperoleh informasi yang akurat, tepat waktu, relevan dan membantu pengambilan keputusan. Implementasi TI sendiri membutuhkan investasi yang besar dan resiko yang tinggi, implementasi TI perlu mekanisme tata kelola TI untuk melakukan pengawasan secara menyeluruh agar tujuan bisnis suatu organisasi benar-benar dapat dicapai secara efektif dan efisien dengan adanya penggunaan TI. PT. Adicipta Inovasi Teknologi (AdIns) adalah perusahaan yang didirikan pada tahun 2000 dengan tujuan untuk menjadi penyedia solusi di bidang teknologi informasi untuk mitra perusahaan dan organisasi. Dalam proses bisnis intinya, PT. Adicipta Inovasi Teknologi sangat tergantung dengan teknologi informasi, hampir semua aktivitas menggunakan teknologi informasi seperti komunikasi dengan pihak luar, pencatatan data perusahaan atau organisasi mitra, perhitungan keuangan dan untuk evaluasi pekerjaan. Teknologi informasi yang ada sangat membantu keberlangsungan PT. Adicipta Inovasi Teknologi, tetapi dalam proses bisnis sehari-harinya masih ditemui kendala atau permasalahan untuk penggunaan teknologi informasi yang ada, contohnya adalah seperti belum semua pegawai menguasai sistem yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan, database yang jarang diupdate, dan belum adanya Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) untuk setiap proses yang ada di perusahaan. Sehingga menimbulkan hasil yang tidak maksimal bagi perusahaan. untuk pengembangan produk, dan standar produk yang digunakan sudah ketinggalan jaman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan COBIT 5 dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa kinerja tata kelola teknologi informasi yang ada di PT. Adicipta Inovasi Teknologi pada domain DSS (Deliver, Service, Support) menunjukan PT. Adicipta Inovasi Teknologi telah mengimplementasikan semua sub domain DSS. Namun, sampai sekarang masih belum sepenuhnya melakukan dokumentasi dan proses pengelolaan yang baik. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil penilaian proses capability level dari sub domain yang ada menunjukan 4 dari 6 sub domain masih berada pada level 1, Performed Process.
