241 Introduction 241 Experimental 242 Results and Discussion 242 Acknowledgement 247 References 252 ABSTRACT Some structural findings on the complexes of the type [Co 2+ (amine) 3 ] Te0 3 nH 2 0 [where en = 1,2-diamino ethane, pn = 1,3-diamino propane, η = 3 or 4] have been reported. Their structural features have been investigated on the basis of elemental analysis, molar conductance, electronic, infrared spectral data, TGA and X-ray diffraction studies. Various ligand field parameters like Dq, Β, β etc. have been evaluated, which suggest an octahedral geometry to the complex. Thermal data suggest the presence of water molecules in the crystal lattice, for which lattice constants have been reported.
