We have carried out muon spin relaxation and rotation measurements on the newly discovered kagome metal KV3Sb5, and find a local field dominated by weak magnetic disorder which we associate with the nuclear moments present, and a modest temperature dependence which tracks the bulk magnetic susceptibility. We find no evidence for the existence of V4+ local moments, suggesting that the physics underlying the recently reported giant unconventional anomalous Hall effect in this material warrants further studies.
With pulsed laser deposition we have grown c-axis oriented thin films of the nominal composition LaMnO 3 (LMO) on LSAT(001) substrates. We find that, depending on the oxygen background pressure during growth, the LMO films contain sizeable amounts of La and/or Mn vacancies that strongly influence their electronic and magnetic properties. Specifically, we show that the Mn/La ratio can be systematically varied from 0.92 at 0.11 mbar to 1.09 at 0.30 mbar of oxygen.These cationic vacancies lead to markedly different disorder effects that become most pronounced once the samples are fully oxygenated and thus strongly hole doped. All as-grown and thus slightly oxygen deficient LMO films are ferromagnetic insulators with saturation moments in excess of 2.5 Bper Mn ion, their transport and optical properties can be understood in terms of trapped ferromagnetic polarons. The search for an ideal Kitaev spin liquid candidate with anyonic excitations and long-range entanglement has motivated the synthesis of a new family of intercalated Kitaev magnets such as H 3 LiIr 2 O 6 , Cu 2 IrO 3 , and Ag 3 LiIr 2 O 6 . The absence of a susceptibility peak and a two-step release of the magnetic entropy in these materials have been proposed as evidence of proximity to the Kitaev spin liquid. Here we present a comparative study of the magnetic susceptibility, heat capacity, and muon spin relaxation (μSR) between two samples of Ag 3 LiIr 2 O 6 in the clean and disordered limits. In the disordered limit, the absence of a peak in either susceptibility or heat capacity and the lack of zero-field muon precession in the μSR signal give the impression of a proximate spin liquid state. However, in the clean limit, peaks are resolved in both susceptibility and heat capacity, and spontaneous oscillations appear in the μSR signal, confirming long-range antiferromagnetic order in the ground state. The μSR oscillations fit to a Bessel function, characteristic of incommensurate order, as reported in the parent compound α-Li 2 IrO 3 . Our results clarify the role of structural disorder in the intercalated Kitaev magnets.
Purpose
The aim of this study was to explore the global research trends of herbal medicine for pain from 1990 to 2019, using bibliometric methods, and explore international collaborations, intellectual structure, the evolution of active topics, emerging trends, and research frontiers.
Methods
Articles on herbal medicine for pain were retrieved from WoSCC. Two information visualization softwares including CiteSpace and HistCite were used to process bibliographic catalogs. Identification of international collaborations, intellectual structure, the evolution of active topics, emerging trends, and research frontiers were performed based on results from bibliometric analysis.
Results
A total of 2986 original articles published between 1990 and 2019 were identified based on the inclusion criteria. The number of publications on herbal medicine for pain in WoSCC significantly increased. China ranked highest in the number of scientific outputs; however, articles with the highest citation rates were found to be from the United States. China–Japan reported the most active collaborations, whereas Kyung Hee University from South Korea was the most productive institution. Zhang Y was the most productive author, whereas research by Sherman KJ and Vane JR had the highest influence.

was the most active journal, whereas Integrative and Complementary Medicine was the most active research area. History of herbal medicine for pain research comprises three major phases of activities. The main points of focus of bibliometric analysis of herbal medicine for pain include “knee osteoarthritis”, “cancer”, “low back pain”, etc.. Moreover, research on mechanisms of action of herbal medicine for pain remains at the forefront of this field.
Conclusion
This paper provides a basis for future development of research on herbal medicine for pain, which may help researchers explore new directions for future research and identify new perspectives on potential collaborations in this field.
