Total charge transfer cross sections for Be4++H( 1s) collisions have been calculated for Be4+ impact energies E = 0.1-25.0 keV amu-' using a molecular orbital closecoupling method. Calculated results are compared with other theoretical results and with the experimental data for C4+ + H( 1s) collisions.Recently, various theoretical approaches for charge transfer collisions between light bare ions and atomic hydrogen have appeared (Bransden and Janev 1983). At low impact energies where the impact velocities are smaller than one atomic unit (au), various theoretical calculations for He2+ + H( 1s) collisions (Fujiwara 1981, Winter 1982
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
