With so many places to look for information and the uncertainty surrounding the credibility of many free web resources, researchers' demand for knowledge services continues to grow under the e-science environment. Academic libraries facing the challenge of determining which information will be value-added when integrated with current collections makes it necessary to build an incorporate knowledge platform that integrates knowledge, skills, tools and services of certain professional field. This paper describes the technical solution of domain knowledge service platform based on Spring Framework, including resource organization, platform design and development. The practical application of domain knowledge service platform is shown in catalytic domain.
