Diante do avanço das construções civis no Brasil, a procura por produtos de qualidades cresceu gradativamente, dando grande importância para o subsetor da indústria cerâmica. O estudo objetivou demonstrar o processo produtivo mais eficiente para a diminuição de custos no ramo industrial de tijolos cerâmicos da construção civil. Dessa forma, o método utilizado foi através de pesquisa exploratória com delineamento bibliográfico, em livros, artigos, monografias sobre estudo realizados em empresas do segmento industrial, com abordagem caracterizada qualitativa, na qual a pesquisa buscou mostrar qual estratégia eficaz na redução de custos. A coleta das informações foi realizada no período de março de 2016 a novembro de 2016. Concentrando as atenções para o processo produtivo de tijolos cerâmicos, a pesquisa permitiu a apresentação dos resultados e analises das obras pesquisadas, demonstra que a contabilidade de custos é uma ferramenta essencial para dar suporte necessário aos tomadores de decisões, de modo a alavancar positivamente o desenvolvimento do setor oleiro-cerâmico, os autores analisados no estudo ressaltam que a Contabilidade de Custos constituiu como uma ferramenta de ampla importância para o trabalho de inúmeras cerâmicas ou olarias, na qual estão voltadas para os gastos ocorridos na produção de bens ou serviços, que de forma franca agrega um percentual de grande expressão para o conjunto da contabilidade das empresas do segmento industrial, que possibilita aos gestores como um novo e atual processo de geração de informações, visando à redução de custos na fabricação do produto, o aumento de produção com a adaptação de novas tecnologias para os gestores maximizar os resultados. Conclui-se que o processo produtivo mais eficiente no segmento de tijolos cerâmicos é a utilização do forno Hoffman, além de reduzir custos de produção tem um baixo consumo de energia, é o mais utilizado pelos gestores na qual tem o foco de redução do custo de produção de tijolos cerâmicos e tornar sua empresa mais competitiva no mercado atual.
