The present study seeks to inspect the calendar effects in major service sector indices in the Indian securities market. The Banking sector and Information technology sector are identified as the prominent service sectors in the Indian economy. BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Bankex are considered as a proxy for the Information Technology and Banking sector. Period of study is chosen from the year 2010 to 2019 to examine the impact of calendar anomalies post-recession. Daily index returns are considered during the period of study .GARCH family models and OLS regression techniques were utilized for the study. Empirical findings indicate the presence of the January effect and turn of the month effect on the index returns and volatility. The study also suggests the possibility of a weak form of efficiency for the IT sector. Significant volatility persistence is observed in both the indices. The study has benefits for regulators to understand the price movements of the service sector after the global recession and frame their policies accordingly. Investors will benefit from this study for effective portfolio management.Contribution/ Originality: This study is one of very few studies which have investigated the calendar anomalies in the Banking sector and Information technology sector indices for the Indian securities market. The paper's primary contribution is finding the presence of calendar anomalies in index returns and volatility.

Yoga is now increasingly used as a wellness solution replacing high cost antibiotic drugs. Employee well-being leads to Cost Savings in terms of personnel by reduced payment of Insurance and Medical Bills. The paper studies the Impact of Yoga to Financial benefits in MSME Organizations in Odisha in light of three different perspectives of Internal Control, Inventory management and Cash Flow. The primary data was collected from a sample of 155 high profile finance executives working in the MSME sector. Ranking Table and Regression Analysis Methodology was used to derive meaningful conclusions. The research takes initiative to transform the effectiveness of Yoga into improved financial health for the Organization. The observation from the study interprets a positive impact of Yoga on good financial health of Organization.
Fifth Generation technology is proposed to be launched in India around 2020 and it is estimated to resolve the technological barriers to 4G technologies. The increased use of digital technology in all spheres of life has necessitated the use of efficient and reliable mobile communications. 5G has advantage over 4G in optimum use of technology. The paper discusses the legal and regulatory issues, feasibility in rural areas and architectural framework. The article highlights about the proposed 5G Architecture requirements, need of 5G, its launch in India and other suitable innovative technology that will suffice 5G operations smoothly. The article is basically written as a twofold. Extensive literature reviews on past studies of 5G and its assumed to be architectural features in near future are discussed based on current technological trends, innovations. Moreover, it is a descriptive and conceptual perspective. It is purely based on secondary data available in Internet and various other topic related research article publications. Lack of empirical data and 5G is not officially released worldwide, but except in some countries, it is given on a basis of beta testing unit. Practically 5G Mobile Technology will be launched in India around 2020 and only after that, comments would be taken into account. This paper discusses vividly about 5G penetration in rural India and its use in Big Data Analysis as small-scale cells called Heterogeneous networks.
