One of the most common psychological problems found in patients with chronic renal failure (ESRD) undergoing hemodialysis is anxiety. The design used was a Quasy Experimental, with a pretest-posttest control group design approach, involved 46 patients divided into control groups (23) and intervention groups (23) taken by purposive sampling. The intervention group get given music a week 2 times with time 30 minutes for 2 weeks. Anxiety levels were measured using HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale) before and after intervention. The control group received standard interventions provided by the Hospital. Data were analyzed by parametric and non-parametric test with Paired t test, Independent t test and Mann Whitney test. Differences of average before and after in two groups with the tested paired t test showed no significant difference with p value <0.05 whereas for differences in the average change of scores between the intervention and control group with independent t test showed there was a significant difference with p value 0.05. An implication of this research and literature review were that Sundanese Kacapi Suling Music could be considered and applied as a complementary theraphy to decrease the anxety of client, particularly ESRD undergoing hemodialysis.

Lack of adherence and knowledge can lead to improper dietary application which will result in remaining health problems and hyperactive behavior of autistic children. The purpose of this study is to examine knowledge and perception of parents towards GFCF diet in children with autism. This descriptive-quantitative study used a total sampling technique to 57 parents of autistic children in 3 Bandung District Extraordinary Schools. Data was obtained through questionnaire with validity ranging from 0.315-0.912 and reliability of 0.788 and 0.932. Data was analyzed using frequency and percentage in descriptive statistics. Results showed that some parents lacked of knowledge (n = 28), and 67% of subjects (n = 38) had a positive perception of GFCF diet. Positive perception includes perception of benefits, perception of susceptibility, perception of self efficacy, and perception of severity. In the perception of barrier, some subjects had negative perception. Based on the results, several parents had positive perception of GFCF diet, although the parental knowledge related to this diet was in the low category. That is likely because of parents have not received sufficient information related to GFCF diet. Therefore, health workers especially community nurses are expected to collaborate with nutritionists in making regular visits in order to provide parents of autistic children with health education related to GFCF diet in extraordinary schools.

Data collection employed from questionnaires that were filled in by the respondents using a retrospective technique at the end of cardiac rehabilitation program. Data were analyzed using descriptive and correlational statistics. The study signified that MI patients required cardiac rehabilitation towards risk factors management and nutritional counseling from nurses (92.1%).The finding also indicated that there is a statistically positive relationship between nutritional counseling needs and risk factor management (r = 0.503, p <0.01). Patients’ needs on nutritional counseling and risk factor management among MI patients are correlated positively. Therefore, the information regarding nutrition and risk factor management for MI patients should be provided simultaneously to complement each other.
