RESUMONeste trabalho são demonstradas alterações nos indicadores de qualidade de energia elétrica referentes à continuidade de fornecimento de energia elétrica, considerando a inserção de geração distribuída em uma rede de distribuição de energia, operando com modo de formação de ilhamento intencional. Para tanto, utilizou-se como ferramenta o método de Monte Carlo, realizando de forma aleatória, desconexões na rede padrão IEEE 37 Barras, e estimando-se, através de simulação computacional, utilizando OpenDSS controlado pelo Matlab, os indicadores de qualidade de energia relacionados à continuidade de serviço de fornecimento. O método foi validado realizando-se simulações computacionais para a rede de distribuição, sem a inserção de geração distribuída funcionando em modo de ilhamento intencional, e comparando-se as simulações a cálculos analíticos. Posteriormente, foram realizadas novas simulações considerando a inserção de geração distribuída com possibilidade de funcionamento em modo de ilhamento intencional. Por fim, foi realizada uma comparação entre as os indicadores de qualidade analisados, obtidos através das simulações computacionais, onde foram verificadas as melhorias nos indicadores de qualidade analisados.
