Cloud is the system that maintains common information sharing among the information devices. It is known that there are always risks and that hundred per cent safety is not available in the environments of information technology. Service providers that operate in accounting sector and utilize the cloud technology are responsible for keeping and preserving the digital financial data that are vitally important for the companies. Service providers need to take all the necessary technical measures, so that the digital data are not damaged, lost and possessed by the malicious third parties. The establishments that provide service for accounting systems by utilizing the cloud computing opportunities in accounting field need to consider the general and countryspecific risks of cloud computing technology. Therefore, they need to build the necessary technical infrastructure and models in order to run the system flawlessly and to preserve the digital data of the establishments in a secure environment.
Recently, sports economy has grown rapidly. So the rapid growth of the sport economy brought match fixing, use of incentive, premium and other prohibited acts and behaviors. As a result of this, a lot of match-fixing investigation was experienced in the world and in our country, the country's football federation was forced to make some arrangements. The purpose of this study is to determine the behavior changes on the stocks of three biggest football clubs (Beşiktaş-BJK, Fenerbahçe-FB, Trabzonspor-TS), which are listed in the National
AbstractThe purpose of this study is to unveil possible effects of global climate change on production index. To achieve this, cointegration, variance decomposition, and Granger causality analyses have been conducted with the data on monthly average temperatures 1 İstanbul iline ait günlük sıcaklık verileri Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Kandilli Rasathanesi ve Deprem Araştırma Enstitüsü'nün veri bankasından elde edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda verileri paylaşan anılan kuruma teşekkür ederiz.
Life cycle costing supports sustainability by stressing the costs not only in the production and selling phases but also considering the costs which are incurred after the sale of the products. This chapter reveals main characteristics of life cycle costing as follows: Life cycle costing also includes production costs which are; (a) research and development costs, (b) marketing, selling, distribution and design costs, (c) and also user costs. User costs have three dimensions: transaction costs, maintenance costs, and disposal costs. Therefore one can simply assert that life cycle costing has a broader approach in the calculation of the costs compared to other conventional costing systems. After introducing the main characteristics and basic definitions of life cycle costing, this chapter will discuss the implementation of life cycle costing in comparison with other conventional costing systems. Following this, we will analyze the link between life cycle costing, waste management and sustainability. Overall review will be done in the conclusion.
Aim of the Study: The accountancy of Business revenues is an important factor to present the financial results. To make these results comparable at the international level, the new standard IFRS-15 was developed by the two international standard determinants: The International Financial Accountancy Standards Board and The US GAAP. The new standard TFRS-15 of The Customer Contract Revenue Standard is designed for reconciling between the current two TMS-18 Revenue standard and TMS-11 construction contract and providing better comparison among the businesses, sectors and markets, and complying with the necessary explanations. Methodology of the Study: It is much easier to create financial tables by using only one standard. On January 1, 2018, the new standard was replaced with TMS-18 Revenue and TMS-11 Construction Contract standards and their interpretations. The new international standard was introduced on May 28, 2014 after countless international meetings with many participants and so many international discussions and comments taking many years. IASB and FASB postponed the initial starting date from January 1, 2017 to January 1, 2018 and so did Turkey. Thus, the standard will be analyzed and evaluated from this perspective. Findings of the Study: The revenue obtained from customers' contracts should be explained in the deep notes in the new standard based on five stage-model of TFRS-15. Whether the new standard has any impact on business and, if any, how much impact it has on them depends on the industries. It is possible to say that the TFRS-15 standard could not succeed to diminish the discretion of the revenue description. Importance of the Study: The purpose of this study is to make cumulative knowledge contribution to the literature by means of explaining and evaluating the subject using enriched and international literature.
