Abstrac:Among the objectives of Social Work appear to promote social change and the extent of citizen welfare. The frenetic pace and speed socioeconomic changes that affect societies today, make clear the need for new tools to facilitate the achievement of these objectives. The interest of this article is to find new ways to carry it out. A tool that answers the above is the use of art as visibility and citizen empowerment. This is the case of new artistic movements that show new ways of introducing art into the cities to interact with them. Specifically, in Zaragoza there is a particular group of artists that annually performed "Asalto Festival" in that city. As they present the event, this festival aims to "explore, discover or rediscover the urban environment from artistic activities, actions and different urban experiences and transform our city into a vanguardist, participatory, colorful, friendly and culturally open and active Zaragoza" . This article seeks to know more intensely the philosophy of this festival and the group that manages it. It also aims to reflect on whether art could be valued as an applied tool for social change and if all the above have place as an instrument for Social Work, as structures that promote social change and citizen welfare. Keywords: urban art, social change, citizen welfare, empowerment, visibility. This paper aims to contribute to knowledge of the factors which inform the grouping of creative workers in particular places. It is based on a case study of Aragón, a region of Spain, and draws on a period of nine months of ethnographic work among a particular group of creative workers. The main hypothesis is that there are visual components in the work environment that are stimulating for workers and there is a number of creative flows in these workspaces. I have selected one office that is occupied by two different groups of creative professionals: web designers and programmers. The research concludes that there is evidence that a shared set of cultural values, ideas about work organization, and a hybrid work-life balance are significant to the location choices of creative workers. The research is relevant as a contribution to knowledge about how creative places work.
COVID-19 has brought a number of situations such as home office, unemployment, illness, cessation of face-to-face educational activities, etc., which generate psychosocial problems and increase the social gap between people in vulnerability situation. Housing is one of the pillars that can generate greater inequalities and increase it in a confined context. The goal of this study is to know the condition of housing and the experiences of families with children under four years old during the confinement in Spain. This research analyses 83 responses received from a questionnaire carried out during the third week after the end of the alarm state. The design of this survey is based on the 682 responses collected during the first weeks of the quarantine produced by COVID-19. The families give greater value to housing, due the centrality it occupies in their daily life. This study demonstrates the need to prevent and face future crises by incorporating psychosocial measures adapted to these new realities.
