O trabalho recolhe e discute as principais teses e contribuições da obra de Julia Kristeva em relação ao desafio pós-estruturalista da investigação em comunicação como uma questão menos de gramática e transmissão do que de micropolítica. Para tanto, passa dos dialogismos da comunicação, por suas teses fundantes (principalmente Bakhtin), à sua reformulação como intertextualidade (Kristeva e Barthes) no seio da lógica de significância. Esta, entendida como o fundamento, mas também como o devir da significação, é apresentada por suas relações com a textualidade e com o par conceitual fenotexto/genotexto, que constitui práticas significantes. Com isso, chegamos à ênfase da semanálise na produtividade e no trabalho que a comunicação pode investigar não somente como significação, mas como elaboração e problematização do sentido.
A aventura crítica da semiótica percorre as principais teses sobre a semiótica e a comunicação conforme trabalhadas na primeira etapa da pesquisa Semiótica Crítica, denominada Por uma teoria das materialidades na comunicação. Nela, o Grupo de Pesquisa Semiótica e Culturas da Comunicação procurou discutir as potencialidades e limites de uma perspectiva comunicacional não somente fundamentada nos trabalhos fundadores da semiótica (Saussure, Peirce) e desenvolvida em seus modelos estruturalistas (como em Jakobson, Barthes, Hjelmslev e Lotman), mas também revisitada pelos textos que operaram uma desconstrução do estruturalismo pelo interior dos postulados deste próprio estruturalismo (Derrida, Kristeva, Deleuze, Guattari). O artigo apresenta esta proposta pelos modos como a pesquisa trabalhou com dez desconstruções ligadas a conceitos e problemas teóricos centrais ao debate das materialidades da comunicação: semiótica, comunicação, materialidades, presença, fenômeno, representâmen, meios, signo e significante, estrutura e sistema, sugerindo uma passagem das materialidades à imanência de uma comunicação micropolítica e pós-humana.
O artigo traça um percurso de definição do conceito de micropolítica em uma visada singular da Semiótica Crítica. Busca suplementos nas teorizações de Deleuze e Guattari para pensá-la enquanto força subjacente a alianças que produzem zonas de devir. Em relação às proposições de Rolnik e Guattari, projeta a compreensão da micropolítica enquanto processo de cooperação dissonante entre sujeitos posicionados em subjetividades distintas, processo que faz esses modelos existenciais desterritorializarem-se. Já considerando as características fenomênicas desse processo, recorre ao pensamento de James e de Lapoujade para compreender que a micropolítica é produzida e intensificada a partir do que esses filósofos chamaram de experiência pura.
