Taking part in family-oriented rehabilitation can improve the QoL of parents of children suffering from cancer, cardiac diseases or cystic fibrosis. Such programs could be expected to affect the way chronically ill children cope with their condition and this should be examined in future studies.
Protocols in clinics are useful as this should maintain good practice and allow on-going monitoring, but they need precise use. Also, as many children with AD/HD present with co-morbid psychopathology and complicated family dynamics to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, this will influence assessment and treatment needs and require increased resources.
The effects of relative body size and conspecific density on cannibalism in the caterpillar Litoprosopus futilis were examined in simple container experiment. The results of the experiments and field observations indicate that the opportunity to consume live conspecific is afforded only when there is a physical advantage of large size.
