Recebido em 30 de Novembro de 2015 -Aceito em 7 de Outubro de 2016 ResumoEstudos indicam que regiões urbanizadas podem se tornar Ilhas de Calor Urbanas (ICU) principalmente por conta da escassez de áreas verdes, altas emissões de poluentes atmosféricos e presença de materiais civis, que absorvem e conservam mais calor por um tempo maior do que os naturais, o que faz as temperaturas desses locais serem superiores às das áreas circunvizinhas. A influência das ICU nos processos convectivos de formação da chuva de forma a modificar o regime de chuvas da região é discutida no mundo científico, já que tais processos dependem também da temperatura local. Nesse contexto, a influência da urbanização no regime de chuvas da Região Metropolitana de São Paulo (RMSP) foi avaliada por meio de métodos estatísticos e simulações numéricas. O modelo WRF foi usado no estudo com diferentes configurações de tipo e uso do solo: 1 -mancha urbana padrão do modelo; 2 -mancha urbana ampliada; 3 -mancha urbana substituída por floresta nativa. As simulações numéricas foram realizadas para eventos em que a convecção teve um papel determinante na configuração da precipitação. A análise da série histórica de precipitação demonstrou indícios de mudança de padrão de comportamento na RMSP principalmente nas décadas de 1980 e 1990 e do ano 2000 até a atualidade, apesar de não se verificar tendência de aumento ou de diminuição da precipitação média na RMSP. Os resultados das simulações ressaltaram a forte influência da urbanização na dinâmica atmosférica e, consequentemente, na ICU da RMSP, culminando em eventos severos e concentrados de precipitação convectiva ao redor e no interior da região urbanizada. Nas simulações alterando a urbanização por floresta nativa a precipitação ocorreu, na maioria das vezes, de forma mais distribuída espacialmente e com núcleos de menor intensidade. Forecasting rainfall is essential for warning issues and mitigating natural disasters. For this purpose, the employment of numerical weather models, even with their uncertainties, can generate reliable forecasts and guide decision-makers. The accuracy of a numerical model can be verified using statistical tools, and it is an essential procedure that needs to be made operationally, aiming to increase the forecasts' reliability. Numerical precipitation forecasts for the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, were performed using the Weather Research Forecasting model, configured with three spatial resolution grids of 9 km, 3 km, and 1 km, and combining different parameterizations for five physical processes: cloud microphysics, cumulus, planetary boundary layer, surface layer, and land surface. The period of interest was January 11th-12th, 2011, when large rainfall accumulations originated the fatal natural hazards in Brazil. Analyses of the spatial distribution of rainfall and its temporal evolution were performed to evaluate the predictions from the quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results showed that the Kessler (cloud microphysics), MYNN3 (planetary boundary layer), Grell-Freitas, Betts-Miller-Janjic (cumulus) parameterizations, and the two highest resolution grids (at times, one was better than the other) had predicted the highest rainfall accumulations. From the initial results, this work reinforces the importance of forecast verification, especially considering different physical parameterizations and spatial resolutions since they can strongly influence the results. Also, corroborate the importance of local numerical forecasts studies aiming to identify the best numerical configurations to forecast heavy rainfall events to alert decision-makers to the possibility of a natural hazard.

ResumoReconhecida e estimulada mundialmente como política de inclusão e cidadania, a educação financeira vem sendo impulsionada e promovida por instituições financeiras, a exemplo da Estratégia Nacional de Educação Financeira, no caso brasileiro, com objetivos desalinhados e desarticulados com uma proposta escolar que considere a sustentabilidade. Verificamos como investigadores da Educação entendem, definem ou concebem as contribuições da educação financeira nos três pilares do desenvolvimento sustentável - econômico, social e ambiental, defendidos por pesquisadores como D’Ambrosio, Sachs e Dowbor. A importância do tema e de sua implementação nos levaram à uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre propostas de educação financeira. A investigação foi levada a efeito por meio de uma revisão sistemática de literatura nas bases SCOPUS, Web of Science e ERIC do portal de periódicos da Capes, a partir de 2015, ano do estabelecimento dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) pela Organização das Nações Unidas. Foram identificados dois artigos voltados para o pilar econômico, um para o social e um para o ambiental. A educação financeira vem sendo principalmente promovida por organismos internacionais, governos e sistemas financeiros com potencial de promover o desenvolvimento e a estabilidade financeira, aumento de poupança, fortalecimento do sistema previdenciário e sistema financeiro nacional. Ela é percebida como um meio para a redução das desigualdades sociais e transferência de responsabilidades do Estado para os indivíduos. Apesar de sua importância, a discussão no meio científico sobre o papel da educação financeira para promoção do desenvolvimento sustentável, ainda é tímida e incipiente, sobretudo na preservação ambiental. AbstractRecognized and encouraged worldwide as a policy of inclusion and citizenship, financial education has been driven and promoted by financial institutions, such as the National Strategy for Financial Education, in the case of Brazil, with objectives that are out of alignment and are not articulated with a school proposal that considers sustainability. We verify how Education researchers understand, define, or conceive the contributions of financial education in the three pillars of sustainable development - economic, social, and environmental, defended by researchers such as D’Ambrosio, Sachs, and Dowbor. The importance of the theme and its implementation led us to bibliographical research on financial education proposals. The investigation was carried out through a systematic literature review in the SCOPUS, Web of Science, and ERIC databases of the Capes journal portal, from 2015 on, the year in which United Nations established the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). We identified two papers focused on the economic pillar, one on the social and one on the environmental. Financial education has been mainly promoted by international organizations, governments, and financial systems with the potential to promote development and financial stability, increase savings, strengthen the social security system and the national financial system. It is perceived as a means to reduce social inequalities and transfer responsibilities from the State to individuals. Despite its importance, the discussion in the scientific community about the role of financial education in promoting sustainable development is still timid and incipient, especially in terms of environmental preservation.
