This study developed a model oriented to organisational integrity in service in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). A systemic approach was adopted to articulate methodologies as follows: A) the soft systems methodology was used to frame the problem and formulate a conceptual model (supported by 140 participants). B) Partial least squares path modelling was applied statistically to validate the construct. C) Through the viable system model, interactions within SMEs were realigned to foster organisational integrity. Results suggest that the relationships proposed in the construct may promote organisational integrity. The ideas developed are restricted to the organisational domain, and although the results apply to the Mexican context, this possible constraint was overcome through the adopted multi-methodological perspective. This study provides an opportunity to discuss methods for improving and viewpoints for rethinking viability in these organisations and provides tools to support academics and managers for addressing the issues identified.
The aim of this article is to determine the socioeconomic level (SEL) with disaggregation of the Basic Statistical Area (BSA) in the Mexican Republic. The methodology used is the one established by the Mexican Association of Market Research Agencies (AMAI) along with the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI). The Clustering of the BSAs was carried out according to variables contained in the Population and Housing Census of 2010, through Gaussian mixture models, learning neural networks and finally, by defining the labels corresponding to each SEL. We found the existence of a representative SEL for each BSA. In addition, the definition of each socioeconomic level shows good results with an average of 90.86% of correctly labeled elements.

The aim of this study is to introduce a new clustering method for ipsatives variables. This method can be used for nominals or ordinals variables for which responses must be mutually exclusive, and it is independent of data distribution. The proposed method is applied to outline motivational profiles for individuals based on a declared preferences set. A case study is used to analyze the performance of the proposed algorithm by comparing proposed method results versus the PAM method. Results show that proposed method generate a better segmentation and differentiated groups. An extensive study was conducted to validate the performance clustering method against a set of random groups by clustering measures.
