El objetivo del presente documento fue mejorar las competencias de lectura y escritura de los estudiantes de administración de empresas de la Fundación Universitaria Empresarial de la Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá, Colombia. Se utilizó una metodología de corte cualitativo a través del método de revisión documental con matrices. Los resultados evidencian que la motivación por realizar lecturas desde sus gustos, teniendo como derrotero su disciplina, efectuando el proceso con la mediación del profesor en cada una de las clases, mejoró sustancialmente los procesos de lectura y escritura en los estudiantes que participaron. En el mismo sentido, se incrementó la indagación de fuentes fidedignas en bases reconocidas por el Departamento Administrativo de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación (Colciencias), así como la visualización de los ejercicios en páginas referentes a perfiles investigativos. Sin olvidar, el empoderamiento de la institución como agente dinamizador del cambio y generador del talento humano más competitivo dado las exigencias del mercado laboral colombiano.
The purpose was identify the interpretations of education for peace in the context of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the travel agencies of Bogotá. The research had a qualitative approach, with a descriptive analytical method, and the research instruments used were in-depth interviews applied to a non-probabilistic sample of travel agencies. The main results were that the interviewed agencies are not clear about the concept of education for peace and do not carry out CSR initiatives aimed at this purpose on a massive scale. Likewise, there is an urgent need for awareness and training strategies to the social fabric.
