O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o potencial dos fosfitos, utilizados em associação com fungicidas e adubos foliares no controle de fungos de sementes de milho. Fez-se a avaliação do potencial dos fosfitos de cobre, potássio e manganês, no crescimento micelial dos isolados de Fusarium verticilliodes e Fusarium graminearum, nas doses de 0; 0,2; 0,4; 0,6; 0,8 e 1 mL-1 100 kg de sementes, dissolvidos em BDA. E a segunda fase do trabalho, foi verificada a incidência de fungos em sementes tratadas com Carbendazim + Thiram, Fludioxonil + Metalaxyl-m, Fosfito de potássio, Fosfito de cobre, Full Tec e Pack Seed, nas doses de 1,5; 3,0; 1; 1; 2 e 3 mL-1 100 kg de sementes, respectivamente. O tratamento das sementes foi realizado de forma manual, misturando-as com a calda e homogeneizando-as em saco plástico. Verificou-se que, para o fungo F. verticilliodes o tratamento que melhor controlou o crescimento radial do patógeno foram os tratamentos com fosfito de potássio nas doses de 0,4; 0,6 e 1 mL, e fosfito de Mn na dose 1 mL. Já, para Fusarium graminearum, as doses e produtos que mais reduziram o crescimento do fungo foram Fosfito de K e Mn, nas concentrações de 0,2 a 1 mL-1 100 kg de sementes. Com relação ao teste de sanidade de sementes, os resultados evidenciaram que os fosfitos em associação com fungicidas, demonstram um efeito positivo na sanidade de sementes de milho, anulando a incidência dos fungos.
