O ambiente tecnológico promissor, moldado pela emergência de avanços sem precedentes, tais como a inteligência artificial, está reformulando profundamente o mundo, assim como o âmbito dos negócios. Nesse contexto, a gestão da qualidade surge como um campo em evidência devido ao seu potencial para revolucionar práticas industriais por meio da Qualidade 4.0, uma abordagem inovadora que combina tecnologia e digitalização no cenário da Indústria 4.0. Diante deste contexto, esta pesquisa tem como problemática: qual será o impacto de tecnologias digitais no controle de qualidade e como ela afetará a eficiência e a eficácia dos processos de produção e serviço? O objetivo geral é explicar o impacto da implementação da qualidade 4.0, com foco particular em como as ferramentas tecnológicas da indústria 4.0 podem ser usadas para elevar ao máximo a eficiência e a eficácia dos controles de qualidade produtivo. Adotou-se uma pesquisa de natureza básica e qualitativa, de caráter explicativo, apoiada em revisão bibliográfica para compilar e analisar conhecimentos disponíveis na literatura científica sobre o tema. Este estudo esclarece a contribuição significativa da Qualidade 4.0 na gestão da qualidade, unindo ferramentas tecnológicas da Indústria 4.0, como IoT, Big Data e Machine Learning, para melhorar eficiência e eficácia dos controles de qualidade. Os resultados indicam redução de erros, controle de qualidade mais preciso e otimização da tomada de decisões. O estudo fornece um legado acadêmico importante para profissionais e acadêmicos em administração, evidenciando a relevância da Qualidade 4.0 para o controle de qualidade produtivo na era digital.
