<p>English has been used as a language of communication since early childhood. These demands make parents vying to include their children to schools that use English as a medium of language in learning. Learning English as a foreign language in Indonesia began to reach the level of early childhood education. Children aged 0-6 years which is a golden age (golden age) and is a critical period in the stage of human life that will determine the development of the next child. All aspects of language use should be introduced to the child before this golden age ends. English on the AUD has begun to be introduced at the kindergarten level. In learning English requires appropriate learning methods to increase interest and desire of students in using English in learning activities that are fun and interested students, both oral and written fluently and in accordance with its social context. This research seeks to gain knowledge about early childhood education related to English language learning in kindergarten education in Sukolilo sub-district of Surabaya city. Data collection techniques were conducted by interviews to obtain verbal information directly. From the total number of 57 kindergartens in Sukolilo sub-district, there are 28 kindergarten that become the research place. From the data obtained, as many as 28 kindergarten who became the subject of research has provided learning English during the learning proces.</p>
Sustainable development nowadays becomes trending discussion among scholars in numerous areas including educational discourse. It becomes major discussion since scholars believed that sustainable development education possesses capacity to share concern for future of the planet and local communities all over the world. Numerous countries through their education ministry encourage introduction of sustainable development into all educational areas. The present study aims to seek an effective strategy to introduce sustainable development in Indonesia. The present study uses descriptive analysis in portraying the role of early childhood education to establish sustainable society coupled with depicting an effective strategy in introducing sustainable development to early childhood children in Indonesia. The present study concludes that early childhood educational system in Indonesia needs to be revised or enhanced in order to achieve the sustainable development goals that are declared by Indonesian government.
Development of urban city is commonly followed by steady growth of economic condition, population density, and negative impact of environmental condition. Reduction quality of environmental condition stimulates the occurrence of environmental degradation within society. Low quality of waste water system, management of garbage, limitation of green areas, and low concern of society toward climate change are example of environmental issues that need to be solved by the government as soon as possible. The succession in achieving aims of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) is continued by Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program from 2015 to 2030. SDGs have numerous action plans in achieving its goals for instance Environmental Health Risk Assessment (EHRA) for waste water system in Blitar. Research methods that use in the present study are as follow (i) Field study named Environmental Health Risk Assessment (EHRA), and (ii) data collection, entry data, data cleaning, data processing and data analysis. The present study concludes numerous results achievement for waste water access are follow : very high (180 districts or 72,58 %), high (26 districts or 10.48 %), medium (28 districts or 11,29 %), low (14 districts or 5,65 %). It can be concluded that the achievement for SDGs for waste water system has been achieved. more actively in investments or asset sharing of airports in the region.
