ABSTRACT Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) and workplace incivility has been investigated and examined by academics for over twenty-five years, and it continues to be a subject that academics are interested in studying. This research analyzes the influence of incivility shown by coworkers and supervisors on OCB by examining the role that interpersonal deviance plays as a mediator, as well as the role that perceived organizational support plays as a moderator in this relationship. Participants in the research are female workers currently working in the banking industry in Pakistan. The research was conducted with participation from 360 female workers who were working in various places throughout Pakistan. Data from respondents was collected using the structured questioner that was provided. The data were examined using correlation and regression analysis, and AMOS was used to examine the mediating and moderating effects of the relationships. According to the findings, interpersonal deviance acts as a partial mediator between incivility shown by coworkers and supervisors and behavior that demonstrates organizational citizenship. In addition, the findings demonstrated that the perception of organizational support moderates the association between incivility shown by coworkers and supervisors and behavior that demonstrates organizational citizenship. In order to analyze the connection between the many observable characteristics, the present research exclusively focuses on the female banking personnel.
The present study strived to explore the existing beliefs and perceptions of public regarding transgender people in Pakistani society. The major objectives of this study were to explore the perception of the general public about transgender and how they differentiate among men, women, and transgender people. The present study was quantitative survey research. By using simple random, 50 respondents were interviewed,followed by an interview schedule. The gathered data were processed and analyzed in descriptive manners. The study revealed that (100 Percent) of the respondents were familiar with transgender people as (82 Percent) met transgender in the street/roadside while beggaring. The present study also revealed that (78 Percent) of respondents perceived transgender as an in-between creature as they differentiated that transgender is male persons who adopted this disguise for attaining sexual attractions by other male persons/purposes (60 Percent). It was also suggested that transgender should be given education, healthcare, and employment opportunities (100 Percent).
"Runaway children" is a growing issue. Print, electronic, and social media highlighted and reported many cases daily. Multidimensional factors are responsible. This study aims to highlight the factors responsible behind and to suggest solutions for families and persons concerned. The assessment of the factors is based on the statements of runaway children. The empirical work focused on 50 children aging from 9 years to 17 years. Structured interviews were carried out. The results indicate that the highest proportion of runaway children was due to violence at home, at school/madras, and at the workplace.Punishments, violence against children, poverty, and strict behavior were pointed out as major causes. Soft and friendly behavior, provision of basic needs including education, parents' guidance, violence free environment without punishment play a role in minimizing the incidence. Extra curricular activities - sports, Boy Scout, and Girl Guide are the key at the school level.
