The subject of quality is at the forefront of strategic plans for any business organization and institution to offer tourist services in the field of hotels. This becomes one of the priorities due to competition in reaching to the largest possible segment of customers. This is the need of time for the organization to master in quality, competencies and expertise in a variety of fields. The problem is how to manage quality for outstanding application in the service sector, tourism and hospitality by improving process and customer satisfaction. This paper focuses on five stars hotel of the city of Aqaba, Jordan. The importance of this approach in general and tourism organization particular is very high. This study presents the descriptive analysis, limitation and treatment of change that represented by service diminution's. The importance of total quality management in the tourism sector is well understood. The study presents the managerial art that is applied in one of five star hotels as a 1 st degree of associate mixed company (Aqaba Hotel -Jordan). And I hope that the research modestly contribute to the performance of hotel organizations to meet the competitive challenges.
The aim of this study is to determine the reality of the practices of the faculty members of teaching skills in light of comprehensive quality standards from the viewpoint of Balqa applied University College students. To achieve the objective of the study the researcher designed a questionnaire included four axes on quality standards in teaching. The study found out that the teachers of these colleges have skills associated with qualities of teaching methods, strategies, teaching methods, techniques, interaction, communication and the evaluation. But they're poor if some special skills like the inability to diversify in the initialization methods to lecture in various ways, to motivate students to learn, does not possesses the ability to provide feedback to students answers, does not support scientific and creative thinking. Never use modern teaching methods and techniques in the best way, and does not emphasize the student use of computers outside the classroom in organizing their daily duties and perform scientific tasks and scientific research. The study recommended the teachers of Applied University of Balqa colleges to increase the attention to skills associated with teaching methods and strategies, teaching methods and techniques, interaction and communication, and evaluation. Particular as regards to diversification in the initialization methods for lecture using the different available methods to stimulating students learning, such as using stories, realistic problems, current events, PowerPoint, scientific demonstration, and to develop their abilities in providing feedback to students answers and support their skills in scientific, creative and critic thinking and to use modern teaching methods and techniques, and the use of student computers outside the classroom in organizing their daily duties and perform scientific tasks and scientific research.
The aim of this study is to identify the impact of computerized management information systems in the performance of workers in the commercial banks of Aqaba-Jordan, a questionnaire was developed and designed to achieve the objectives of this study in order to collect data, and was distributed on the sample of (92) employees from various commercial banks in Aqaba-Jordan, in a set of 8-10 questionnaires for each bank, (88) questionnaires have been restored in a percentage of 93%. The questionnaire was based on closed type of questionnaires. The researcher has calculated several statistical measures, namely arithmetic average, Alpha Cronbach's coefficient, t test, standard deviation, ANOVA, and Toki test. The acceptance criteria for hypotheses or question (item) were that the arithmetic mean should be greater than 3.00 and to be significant, the observed significance level of t must be less than 0.05. Also this study aimed to investigate the perceptions of the sample about the dimensions of the information systems for job performance requirements, programming requirements, human requirements and material requirements, The followings represent the most important results of the study:1. There is a relationship between the characteristics of the beneficiaries and their attitudes towards management information systems.2. The level of utilization of information systems is influenced by the attitudes of the beneficiaries towards the adoption of computer in the applications of information systems and by their attitudes toward the requirements of information systems and information systems Journal of Management Research ISSN 1941-899X 2012 www.macrothink.org/jmr 188 activities, which are attributable to demographic variables (gender, scientific qualifications, experience, and job level).
This study aims To shed light on the concept of knowledge management and its dimensions, Understand the importance of knowledge management and justifications for taking out the institutions of higher education, To identify the input and knowledge management processes required for successful institutions of higher education, To identify the products and the effects of knowledge management institutions of higher education, Detection of the most important methods of benefit associated with the management of institutions of higher education knowledge.The study used a descriptive approach to the appropriateness of the nature and objectives of the study; helps in the detection of the concept of knowledge management and its dimensions , processes and outputs of educational institutions, and that this approach does not stop at the present , but extends into the future, so do not stop at the borders describe phenomena and problems, but extends to the analysis and interpretation, and out of the conclusions meaningful benefit in the treatment of the issue under study. Conclusions private institutions of Arabic higher education: The analytical study revealed that higher education institutions in general, Arab, and in Jordan, and in particular suffer from, The absence of the concept of knowledge management and practices addressing the issues of knowledge in a piecemeal fashion, double the investment of modern technologies in the field of conservation and dissemination of information ,lack of consensus skills and knowledge graduates with the requirements of the knowledge society, the weakness of the relationship between scientific research and knowledge management, with respect to the generation and dissemination of knowledge, need for higher education institutions to engage the Arab public in the era of knowledge and practices of knowledge management, through a good investment for intellectual capital available to them.
