El presente trabajo propone un invernadero destinado al secado de café formado por una cubierta solar parabólica y estructura modular adaptada. Se inició a través de un levantamiento planimétrico elaborado por diferentes softwares de ingeniería y arquitectura como: SolidWorks y Revit Architecture. Para el experimento se utilizó principios de ingeniería inversa, tomando como base, una estructura ya existente para desarrollar un modelo de acople modular, con el fin de establecer interacciones entre mecanismos y estructura. El estudio demostró que el diseño de los acoples de armado, facilitan su movilización, reducen costos y permiten la aplicación de materiales accesibles para el secador parabólico solar (marquesina), adicionalmente se presentan curvas de secado de café en un secador solar tipo parabólico y su tiempo representados en Statgraphics. El resultado del modelo con acoples de armado modular se asoció correctamente con resultados experimentales existentes, permitiendo realizar comparaciones entre tiempo y eficiencia del secado de café.
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo realizar un análisis termográfico a un motor de encendido provocado, al inducirle fallas controladas no detectadas por el OBD II (Sistema de Diagnóstico a Bordo de Segunda Generación), mediante diseño de experimentos (DoE). Se aplica un diseño factorial completo de dos niveles y dos factores. La unidad experimental es un vehículo Hyundai Accent que se somete a ocho tratamientos en un banco dinamómetro. Los resultados muestran una variación de temperatura de 18.78 ℃ y NOx de 291 ppm al intervenir sobre la bujía, 18.98 ℃ y NOx de 20 ppm al incidir sobre el filtro de aire, y 55 ℃ y NOx de 25 ppm frente a un efecto combinado. Se concluye que la media cuadrática (RMS) de los datos presentes en una imagen térmica es la característica que mejor permite evaluar el efecto de los factores o fallas sobre el vehículo, al presentar un mejor ajuste y menor desviación estándar.
El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar las tecnologías de impresión 3D realizadas por Modelado Deposición Fundida (FDM) y PolyJet, a partir de ensayos mecánicos con materiales de Acrilonitrilo Estireno Acrilato (ASA) y VeroWhitePlus RGD 835 para la selección del material y tecnología adecuada en la fabricación de ductos de aire aplicados a autopartes automotrices. Con el fin de alcanzar el objetivo se realizaron pruebas de tracción mecánica a probetas fabricadas por ambas tecnologías; según la norma ASTM D638-14 para las pruebas de tracción y para los ensayos a flexión con la norma ASTM 790; para evaluar el comportamiento del flujo del aire en ducto se seleccionó como caso de estudio el ducto de aire empleado en la camioneta pick up Toyota Stout 2200 modelado por medio del software Ansys Student. Los resultados mostraron que el material VeroWhitePlus RDG 835 utilizado en la construcción del ducto por medio de la tecnología PolyJet presentó los mejores resultados con límite de fluencia a la tracción de 4.7 MPa y esfuerzo máximo de flexión de 28 MPa.
