Introducción. La autoevaluación es la forma de evaluación que hace una persona de sí misma; supone aspectos claves para el desarrollo de la madurez, como son autocrítica, autoconocimiento, autoconcepto y la capacidad de reflexionar, lo que genera conocimiento a partir de la práctica. La capacidad para la autoevaluación se aprende, y los estudiantes deben ejercitarse en ello, tomando conciencia por sí mismos de sus logros, errores y aspectos a mejorar. El estudiante debe contar con instrumentos confiables y válidos para que el proceso sea objetivo.Objetivo. Determinar el alcance de la rúbrica como instrumento confiable para la autoevalua-ción del aprendizaje clínico de los estudiantes de enfermería producto de la experiencia intrahos-pitalaria.Metodología: Investigación con metodología cuantitativa. El docente aplicó una rúbrica para evaluar la práctica clínica al mismo tiempo que el estudiante. Se realizó análisis de confiabilidad a través del Coeficiente Alpha de Cronbach y Coeficiente de Correlación Intraclase (CCI). Se aplicó t de Student para verificar diferencia de medias.Resultados: Participaron 37 estudiantes. Se obtuvo una rúbrica con Coeficiente Alpha de Cronbach de .750, CCI de ,655. Las puntuaciones obtenidas por los docentes como heteroevalua-ción y estudiantes como autoevaluación no evidenciaron diferencias estadísticamente significati-vas, p-valor > 0,05. Conclusiones: De acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos, se puede aseverar que una rúbrica válida y confiable es un instrumento objetivo para ser utilizado por los estudiantes. La autoevaluación es la reflexión sobre el propio desempeño, lo cual estimula habilidades metacognitivas y genera aprendizaje en los estudiantes
La formación de enfermeros contempla desarrollar lógicas de razonamiento, para promover el pensamiento reflexivo y crítico (PCR), y aplicarlo en el actuar profesional. Esta investigación pretende determinar la presencia de PCR en el currículum de Enfermería de cuatro universidades chilenas, como parte de estudio multicéntrico desarrollado por la Red Iberoamericana de Investigación en Educación en Enfermería (RIIEE) mediante estudio cuantitativo exploratorio-descriptivo. Con aprobación del Comité de Ética, se aplica cuestionario, analizando datos con Programa SPSS. Se caracterizan los docentes de cada unidad académica, número de estudiantes, además de las declaraciones de PCR en Planes de estudio, estrategias didácticas y de evaluación explícitas en los cursos. Concluimos que las cuatro escuelas estudiadas declaran el PRC en sus perfiles y planes de estudio, aunque el nivel de implementación y evaluación en sus cursos es diverso. Futuras investigaciones requieren indagar cualitativamente el modo en que docentes desarrollan PCR con estudiantes, y su impacto en el aprendizaje.
