Las cañas, familia Bambusoideae, son un recurso ampliamente utilizado en construcción de viviendas, corrales de animales, artesanías, y usos similares. En el cantón El Triunfo y, en general en Ecuador, son limitadas las plantaciones de caña concebidas dentro de sistemas tecnificados de producción. Este trabajo evalúa la eficacia de tres técnicas de propagación asexual sobre tres bambusáceas (Guadua angustifolia, Phyllostachys aurea y Bambusa vulgaris) para establecer la metodología más adecuada de propagación en base a la relación de individuos-costo-tiempo. El proyecto se desarrolló en la zona El Vainillo, cantón El Triunfo, Guayas, mediante siembra en un diseño completo al azar con arreglo factorial AxB de 3 x 3, siendo el factor A: especies y el factor B: material vegetal. Las variables para evaluar el mejor comportamiento de los tratamientos fueron: porcentaje de prendimiento, altura de plantas, diámetro de tallos, número de hojas y densidad radicular. En el caso de P. aurea, mayor prendimiento (83,3%), y número de hojas (82) se da mediante propagación con “secciones de tallo”, la misma que da mayor número de hojas (59,67) en B. vulgaris. Por otro lado, el mejor prendimiento (77,7%) y altura (46,3 cm) para B. vulgaris se consigue con “ramas basales” y con esta técnica es mejor el prendimiento de G. angustifolia (74,3%) y mayor la altura de P. aurea (87,33 cm). Mient ras que los “chusquines” resultan el mejor método para altura (61,3 cm) y número de hojas (42,3) en G. angustifolia. Los “chusquines” generan más densidad de raíces (77,3 g) en G. aungustifolia, como lo hacen las “secciones de tallo” en P. aurea (96,2 g) y las “ramas basales” para B. vulgaris (83,1 g). Por lo tanto, el método de propagación a elegir depende de la especie que desee multiplicarse.
Las especies de guabo Inga edulis e I. vera son ampliamente utilizadas en sistemas agroforestales. Este estudio compara sus indicadores de desarrollo fenológico, aporte de minerales y presencia de organismos benéficos en su entorno de influencia, mediante un diseño de bloques completamente al azar (DBCA) con tres tratamientos y seis repeticiones. I. edulis tiene crecimiento polinomial más promisorio, con 5.79 m de altura, diámetro altura de pecho (DAP) de 0.075 m y 31.66 ramas con un diámetro de sombra de 5.94 m, superando a I. vera que alcanza 4.74 m de altura, DAP de 0.061 m y 14.33 ramas con sombra diametral de 4.79 m. Ambas especies difieren en su aporte de macronutrientes al suelo, superando I. vera en NH4, K y Mg, mientras que I. edulis realiza un mayor aporte de P y Ca. El contenido mineral foliar también difiere, superando I. edulis en NH4, P y Mg foliares, no obstante, I. vera contiene mayor K y Ca foliares. En la hojarasca, I. edulis posee 3.13% N, mientras que I. vera 2,53% N. La fauna asociada a estas especies se relaciona con la presencia de lombrices de tierra (Lumbricus terrestres) en el área del subsuelo con influencia de la raíz, existiendo mayor promedio de individuos por árbol en I. edulis (22.6) que en I. vera (14.9). Sin embargo, en I. vera existe mayor población de avispas Polistes dominula (4.6) y Vespula vulgaris (10.3), con relación a I. edulis, que alcanza 2.7 y 5.2 individuos por árbol, respectivamente.
Inga sp es un árbol usado en sistemas agroforestales. Este documento coteja los indicadores de desarrollo fenológico, aporte de minerales y presencia de organismos benéficos de las especies I. edulis e I. vera el trabajo se realizó mediante un diseño de bloques completamente al azar (DBCA) con tres tratamientos y seis repeticiones. I. edulis tiene crecimiento polinomial llegando alcanzar de altura hasta 5.79 m de, diámetro altura de pecho (DAP) de 0.075 m y 31.66 ramas con un diámetro de sombra de 5.94 m, superando a I. vera que alcanzó 4.74 m de altura, DAP de 0.061 m y 14.33 ramas con sombra diametral de 4.79 m. refrenté a su aporte edáfico se pudo obtener que I. vera aporta con NH4, K y Mg, mientras que I. edulis genera un mayor aporte de P y Ca. La reserva mineral foliar disiente, prevaleciendo I. edulis en NH4, P y Mg foliares, sin embargo, I. vera contiene mayor K y Ca foliares. En la hojarasca, I. edulis posee 3.13% N, mientras que I. vera 2,53% N. Los microrganismos presentes en el ensayo fueron lombrices de tierra (Lumbricus terrestres) en el subsuelo con dominio de la raíz, existiendo mayor cantidad por árbol en I. edulis (22.6) que en I. vera (14.9). No obstante, en I. vera existe mayor población de avispas Polistes dominula (4.6) y Vespula vulgaris (10.3), con concordancia a I. edulis, que alcanza 2.7 y 5.2 individuos por árbol, respectivamente.
