This study aims to describe the Principal's Leadership in Improving Teacher Performance in SMA Negeri 11 Jambi and the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Principal's Leadership in Improving Teacher Performance in SMA Negeri 11 Jambi. This study used a qualitative descriptive study type case study. The subjects in this study were the Principal and Teachers. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews and document study. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, the data validity test used triangulation technique. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Principal’s Leadership in Improving Teacher Performance in SMA Negeri 11 Jambi is quite good at coaching teacher performance, monitoring teacher performance, providing motivation and evaluating teacher performance. Meanwhile, teacher performance is also quite good in preparing lesson plans, managing learning activities, and conducting learning evaluations. (2) The supporting factor is strong support and motivation from the principal. The inhibiting factors are the lack of LCD projector and internet network, the lack of the ability of teachers to manage classrooms and use various learning methods and the lack of teacher discipline. Based on the research results it is recommended that the principal make improvements and affirmation to the teacher so that the principal leadership process in improving teacher performance can then be carried out optimally. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Guru di SMA Negeri 11 Kota Jambi dan Faktor pendukung dan penghambat Kepemimpinan Kepala sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Guru di SMANegeri 11 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah dan Guru. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data yaitu dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikankesimpulan. Sedangkan uji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Guru di SMA Negeri 11 Kota Jambi cukup baik dalam melakukan pembinaan kinerja guru, pengawasan kinerja guru, pemberian motivasi serta evaluasi terhadap kinerja guru. Sedangkan untuk kinerja guru juga cukup baik dalam menyusun rencana pembelajaran, mengelola kegiatan pembelajaran, dan melakukan evaluasi pembelajaran. (2) Faktor pendukungnya ialah adanya dukungan serta motivasi yang kuat dari kepala sekolah. Faktor penghambatnyaialah kurangnya proyektor LCD dan jaringan internet, kurangnya kemampuan guru dalam mengelola kelas dan menggunakan berbagai metode pembelajaranserta kurangnya kedisiplin guru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian direkomendasikan agar kepala sekolah melakukan perbaikan dan penegasan kepada guru agar proses kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru selanjutnya dapat dilaksanakan dengan maksimal
The purpose and target of this study was to describe the efforts of the principal to improve the professional competence of teachers in Public Elementary School No. 162/I Bukit Sari Village, Maro Sebo District. The aspects studied included the efforts of the principal to improve teacher professional competence, as well as inhibiting factors. The author uses a qualitative approach and chooses the type of case study. The principal is a subject. The principal and teacher are the data sources used as sources of information. Data collection uses interview techniques and documentation studies. Analyzing data is done by reviewing, data reduction, presenting data, and verifying data to then draw conclusions. The technique of checking the validity of the data using source triangulation. The results of this study explain that the efforts of principals to improve teacher professional competencies are by implementing a coaching process and involving teachers in various educational activities and training, seminars, workshops, and Teacher Working Groups. The obstacles are: 1) Teachers and schools have difficulty accessing information because the internet connection or network is very slow. 2) There are still some teachers who do not understand the concept of interrelationship between subjects. Based on the results of the study it is recommended that: 1) The principal must be more active in developing all teaching staff. 2) Immediately resolve the problem of internet network connection and fulfill other supporting facilities. 3) Teachers must be able to use various learning methods.
Penyelenggaraan kegiatan-kegiatann yang dilakukan oleh sekolah sudah semestinya didasarkan pada tata kerja yang ada. Dari sini berperan fungsi-fungsi manajemen yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan terakhir evaluasi. Setiap program kegiatan yang dilaksanakan sudah semestinya dilakukan kegiatan evaluasi untuk melihat sejauh mana manfaat suatu program kegiatan beserta kekurangan-kekurangan dan hambatan-hambatan yang ada. Penyusunan tata kerja sekolah merupakan langkah untuk membuat suatu perencanaan terhadap program-program kegiatan sekolah. Selain itu, penyusunan tata kerja sekolah juga merupakan prosedur kerja bagi setiap warga sekolah dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan sesuai tugas, pokok dan fungsinya. Analisis evaluasi terhadap program kegiatan sekolah merupakan upaya kontrol untuk melihat sejuah mana program kegiatan sekolah dijalankan serta manfaatnya bagi perkembangan sekolah tersebut. Evaluasi merupakan sebuah perbaikan dan penyempurnaan serta penilaian apakah suatu program kegiatan sekolah dapat diteruskan atau tidak perlu dilanjutkan. Pelatihan Penyusunan Tata Kerja dan Analisis Evaluasi Sekolah ini dipandang penting dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja sekolah yang juga berpengaruh pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Hasil akhir dari pengabdian ini akan sangat berguna bagi pengambil kebijakan dalam meningkatkan kinerja sekolah.

The curriculum reallydetermines the process and results of an education system. The curriculum is adescription of the material presented in learning, is also a very important component inan education system, the curriculum is a tool to achieve educational goals and at thesame time as a guide in the implementation of teaching at all types and levels ofeducation. Curriculum development is a process that plans, produces a better tool basedon the results of an assessment of the curriculum that has been in effect, so that it canprovide good teaching and learning conditions. In other words curriculum developmentis an activity to produce a new curriculum through the steps of curriculum preparationbased on the results of the assessment conducted over a certain period of time.Curriculum principles can also be regarded as rules that animate curriculumdevelopment. This principle has the aim that the curriculum is designed or produced inaccordance with the demands of all parties, namely students, parents, community andnation. In general, curriculum experts view curriculum development activities as acontinuous process, a cycle that involves several curricula, namely components,objectives, materials, activities and evaluations. This paper uses the method oftheoretical study of the principles of curriculum development. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah dan budaya kerja terhadap kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 3 Kota Jambi dan diharapkan memberi solusi terhadap upaya yang akan dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru agar tercapainya tujuan sekolah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022, menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru di SMK Negeri 3 Kota Jambi. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan simple random sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 57 guru. Hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Terdapat pengaruh gaya kepeminpinan situasional kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan melalui hasil uji t pada nilai nilai t hitung lebih besar dari nilai t tabel yaitu 3,120 > 2,004, dengan persentase sebesar 39,3%. (2) Terdapat pengaruh budaya kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan melalui hasil uji t pada nilai nilai t hitung lebih besar dari nilai t tabel yaitu 4,537> 2.004, dengan persentase 27,2%. (3) Terdapat pengaruh gaya kepeminpinan situasional kepala sekolah dan budaya kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Menunjukkan tingkat signifikan sebesar 14,707 sedangkan nila F tabel sebesar 3,18, dengan persentase 66,5%isisanya iyaitu i33,5% idipengaruhi ioleh ifaktor lain iyang itidak iditeliti idalam ipenelitian iini iseperti stress kerja, kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja guru. Dari hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah dan budaya kerja terhadap kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 3 Kota Jambi.
