In this paper are presented the results of experimental studies determining the dependence of the impact of an innovative welding micro-jet method on the intensity of abrasive wear of chrome-manganese 20MnCr5. The presented method is generally used for the constructions work items matrix for the production of silicate. The results confirm that the micro-jet welding method reduces the abrasive wear intensity of about 20% compared to the steel after thermo-chemical treatment. Other parameters such as the friction coefficient and power friction show comparable value, and therefore do not have a significant impact on working conditions.
Manufacturers of welding equipment strive to develop the most efficient, cost-effective and easy to process welding methods. This necessity is also related to welding of new, often hard-to-weld steel types. The article aims to present the possibility of welding a high-strength S700MC steel with an increased yield point using MAG (135) process and a blowtorch with an intelligent arc control. The blowtorch allows to reduce input energy and reduce splinters while maintaining the mechanical properties of the material. The S700MC steel has been selected for the tests purposefully, as it may create welding problems in order to maintain high strength and increased yield point. The applied technology provided lower power consumption compared to traditional welding machines and joints with very good mechanical properties were achieved.
Abstract. This paper presents selected quality tools that have been used to identify incompatibilities and their causes in the laser cutting process. As a result of the studies and analyzes, it was found that errors made by the TPM Maintenance Services, such as the failure of the laser to be included in the inspection and maintenance schedule and improperly scheduled employee training, led to the production of some 4500 non-compliant products per batch, representing about 30% products in each batch. The research has made it possible to identify the causes of nonconformity and to plan the correct actions to eliminate them. Keywords: TPM, production, quality tools, production management, production process, incompatibilities IDENTYFIKACJA NIEZGODNOŚCI W PROCESIE CIĘCIA LASEROWEGO PÓŁPRODUKTU Streszczenie.
In recent years, the development of IT systems for fleet monitoring was observed. Tire pressure monitoring systems are constantly improved. Decreased values in tire pressure can cause deformation of tires. Monitoring of tire pressure is an important function in oversized transport trucks. Tire pressure and rolling resistant influence fuel consumption. The purpose of this paper was to determine the impact of tire pressure on fuel consumption in a fleet of trucks with tire pressure monitoring system installed and to determine the impact of other factors that may affect fuel consumption, such as the vehicle weight, brake usage and cruise control usage. The results of the research were developed using a multiple regression model describing the above dependence.
