Tribological Properties of Super Field Weld with Micro-Jet Process

Abstract: In this paper are presented the results of experimental studies determining the dependence of the impact of an innovative welding micro-jet method on the intensity of abrasive wear of chrome-manganese 20MnCr5. The presented method is generally used for the constructions work items matrix for the production of silicate. The results confirm that the micro-jet welding method reduces the abrasive wear intensity of about 20% compared to the steel after thermo-chemical treatment. Other parameters such as the frictio… Show more

“…It was assumed that suitably selected micro-injectors and processing parameters provide adequate heat dissipation of the applied surface and thus reduce thermal stresses]. The new technology allow to shorten spraying process and obtain the desired structure of the material [6,[11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18].…”

“…The design of micro-jet injector is patented in Polen. Until now, the system was used only for welding technologies [15][16][17][18][19][20][21]. The latest national and international research publications contained findings and information, that indicate, that the cooling system of micro-jet gives the ability to control the structure and can be successfully used in automated thermal spray technologies of coatings [1][2][3][4][5][6].…”
