Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsep diri, komitmen, dan motivasi berprestasi dengan prestasi renang 100m gaya bebas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan survai. Sampel penelitiannya atlet renang Jawa Barat berjumlah 35 orang dan diambil melalui teknik random. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara: (1) konsep diri dan prestasi renang 100m gaya bebas; (2) komitmen dan prestasi renang 100m gaya bebas; (3) motivasi berprestasi dan prestasi renang 100m gaya bebas; dan (4) konsep diri, komitmen, dan motivasi berprestasi secara bersama-sama dengan prestasi renang 100m gaya bebas.Kata Kunci: konsep diri, komitmen, motivasi berprestasi, dan prestasi renang gaya bebas THE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN SELF-CONCEPT, COMMITMENT, AND ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION WITH FREESTYLE SWIMMING ACHIEVEMENTAbstract: The Study is aimed at finding out the relationship between self-concept, commitment, and achievement motivation with freestyle swimming achievement. The method used in this research is suevai method. The samples in this research is swimming atheletes consisted with 35 samples selected randomly. The result of the study indicated positive relationship between: (1) self-concept with freestyle swimming achievement; (2) commitment with freestyle swimming achievement; and (3) achievement motivation with freestyle swimming achievement. There is also a positive and significant correlation between slefconcept, commitment, and achievement motivation together with freestyle swimming achievement.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh media papan luncur pada pola metode drill terhadap hasil belajar teknik dasar renang gaya bebas, (2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pull buoy pada pola metode drill terhadap hasil belajar teknik dasar renang gaya bebas, (3) Untuk mengetahui manakah pengaruh yang lebih efektif dari media papan luncur dan pull buoy pola metode drill terhadap hasil belajar teknik dasar renang gaya bebas. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen dengan teknik rating scale. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 14 anggota. Sampel penelitian menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan: lembar tes observasi untuk mahasiswa mengenai format penilaian koordinasi gerak dasar renang gaya bebas dan dokumentasi penelitian. Hasil pengujian hipotesis penelitian ini terbukti bahwa, menggunakan media papan luncur tersebut dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar teknik dasar renang gaya bebas, menggunakan media pull buoy tersebut dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar teknik dasar renang gaya bebas, dan menggunakan kedua media tersebut sama-sama efektif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar teknik dasar renang gaya bebas. Dalam penggunaanya dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan latihan.
Although the right to participate in sports is recognized in international conventions, accessibility to sports facilities has been cited as barriers to participation. Managers of sports facilities must know the standards that refer to the rules and accessibility to meet the needs of persons with disabilities to participate in sports and to attend sporting events. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the accessibility of sports facilities for training and competition in Indonesia and Malaysia. This study used a qualitative method through focus group discussions. Fifteen focus group discussions were conducted with 90 athletes from eight sports (boccia, goalball, basketball, badminton, ping-pong, swimming, powerlifting and blind football) who trained and competed in inclusive sports facilities. There were five major themes that we identified: access to training facilities, access inside training facilities, access during matches and athletes’ expectations of training and competition facilities.
This research was conducted so that the endurance and speed of swimming athletes can be increased and prepare young swimmers to be able to reach the time requirements in following the provincial championship. Problems found in the field, athletes train in the conventional way, and training programs are arranged based on the trainer's experience. This is the basis for the use of aerobic interval training for young swimmers because it can form training early by using a proven theoretical basis that can increase the time in swimming. The research began by revealing the ability of the freestyle athlete in the swimming club through aerobic interval training in order to have maximum endurance and speed. This training involved 18 athletes in the age range of 10-15 years. The success of the training is known through data obtained from the best time during aerobic training in the 50m freestyle swimming. Swimming time measurement uses a stopwatch so that freestyle swimming time is known before and after training. Time achievement that has been obtained is done different tests to see the effect of interval training on swimming time speed. The final measurement results show that the athlete's time achievement in freestyle swimming changes after being given aerobic interval training. The results of this study will support the achievement of best time young swimmers to take part in the National Sports Week by continuing training using theoretically and empirically tested training programs.
